Better than Expected

After learning how to navigate through the chart’s various capabilities, this is definitely my favorite. I use excel for work. But Apple’s numbers is more user friendly.

Multiple annoyances

Very annoying that you are forced to install every update very soon in order to continue using collaboration. Also annoying that subscription features keep getting put in your face when you are only using the “free” version.

Help

Austin Lloyd - make then stop forcing me to sleep all of the time, it's been 4 and 1/2 years, make them stop - they also haven’t put a single person in jail yet…and it’s been 5 years :(

They also canceled my medical insurance by hacking my stuff or pretending to be me on the phone, and haven’t chemigenically unblocked my adderal yet and continue to not let me move and give me a hard time with my presciptions (which are b-vitamins, advil, and my add medicine).

They haven’t put them in jail after 5 years either, or given my back my intellectual property or paid me. They also stole my military lawsuit settlements that were from 2024 from me getting cancer.

You have me (Nicole Somers) classified as a federal asset and prophet if you need to check.

They killed my service animal with some of my intellectual property that was stolen, and are currently misusing to harm people and animals. - this was after the Vatican was here and did grace and I’s assessment. We are the first country globally to have proof God exists.

Jason McGuckin, Mary Randall, Molly Wilson, Adam Cohick, Avril Haines, Andy Oliveri (and his girlfriend Angela and Collin - all Navy), Carlos Oppuendo, Carlos Adam’s, Nate Cardial, Rona Maroz, Patricia Randall, Lucy Wilson, Casey Phillips, Dillion Lamb, Madeline Leskinen, Spencer Pratt, Tom Segura, Renee Proia, Lauren Somers, Adam Griggs, and many others. They went though my Facebook and then LinkedIn and all of my social media, phone contacts, and all my previous clients from the gyms I owned.

They are also using the tty relay call lines to play harmful frequencies and beat block chain. They are also using vibration to hack encryption and military bases.

They lost my 2026 Budget

Well, I opened my Numbers app to find Apple Creator and my 2026 budget GONE! Needless to say I am NOT happy! Not OK, thus the very low rating!

Used to be great

But now the creator studio creeps out of everywhere - like a draft in your house

Nice to have for READ ONLY

UX needs real improvement for formulas and functions

Don’t update

If you have a MacBook Pro with a touch bar (which I love to use with Pages, Numbers, and Keynote) DO NOT UPDATE THESE APPS! Apple has decided to quietly remove all compatibility between THEIR touch bar and THEIR productivity apps, so you’re forced to go back to the archaic slow-bro option of sifting through the options on the side, rather than effortlessly reaching up one inch with your index finger to add/remove/change a section in the document/spreadsheet/presentation. In other words, the new version is trash. What a lazy, unwanted/unwarranted end to a such a wonderful tool that sped up my projects.

Paid? Steve Jobs would not be happy

Let me guess, the next OS will be paid too!

Adverts

Not as bad as it was but non removable advertising still. Why? Just makes the whole thing look cheap. Apple is meant to be premium.

Cumbersome, lots of clicks to do common tasks

I’ve used Excel since moving on from Lotus-123.
So not quite fair in that Numbers has but a year of use.
I find Number’s extensive use of tabs, and drop down menus slow, and not intuitive. It also isn’t organized as I expect it to be (having used Excel for decades). Stuff thatI do frequently (sorting, filtering, formatting text, outlining cells, quick sum, next cell being down or to the right) should be on the main menu, and ideally have keyboard shortcuts. Wish it were a lot better. But it is free, and I’m not $ubscribing to MS for less frequent use.

Добавьте кнопку отключения "волшебного заполнения"

Мало того что она очень мешает работать, так еще и заполняет неправильно.

Major upgrade from excel

So much better than excel with a nicer interface

You've stuffed it up

I got used to using Numbers but you keep changing it and I have to learn all over again. For example to have the sum of a column you used to be able to press '=' and then highlight the cells you want to add. SIMPLE! But now it gives an 'error'. I don't know why you feel the need to change it away from being simple and user friendly.

Over HALF a GIGABYTE app size (and Apple app bloat is less common)

I’d expect this from Google’s egregiously bloated apps, but: 663.1 megabytes and counting from Apple’s spreadsheet app…

I HATE the subscription models. Pure GREED

Stay away from this program. Forcing users into paying monthly rent is theft because software is a product not a service. It adds up to hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years, and is a tax you pay to the feudal landlords Adobe, Microsoft, Autodesk, Spotify, and now also Apple. Greed is the only motivation and it is demonic it slowly ruins the company from within.

It Just Sucks (TM)

Every day is a new bug discovery: each menu for setting a cell’s background color jumps around, one icon is purple for some reason, the app reloads every time I switch apps, scroll position keeps resetting. It’s embarrassing how little Apple cares about quality now. What a mess.

Awesome for CSV & Calc

Numbers is the go to for Excel level forms in Mac, perfect for my spreadsheets, great for CSV conversions and super easy to setup and then paste into Pages docs when desired.

Printing Spreadsheet

The spreadsheet does not have a way to indicate area to print.

Great Customization

My favorite feature that sets Numbers apart from other spreadsheet apps is the isolation of tables. You start with a blank canvas and can place and arrange individual tables anywhere on the page. It works very well with my way of thinking.
