Wow

My family walked down to get on the ferry. I like that fact that the bottom part had AC/refreshment. We went to the top. So that we. Would take pictures. So much fun!!!

Payment issues

Terrible app. The payment randomly fails from time to time, temporarily charging the credit card but not allowing to buy the ticket. This is an ongoing issue for over a year that has not been fixed yet.

Terrible UX

The navigation and orientation of this app for ferry schedules is Terrible. It should be rebuilt.

Best Service in NYC

Thank God for the ferry and those who work it! You make experiences great!

Great service

Lacks synchronisation with SIR Staten Island need AI to make a time table which is in synch

Ride to Work

It was so wonderful the fact that I was able to see an amazing view of New York and I was able to see the Statue of Liberty and almost forgot that I was going to work. I almost missed my stop. It was so amazing. Definitely should check it out.

Expires

I love taking the ferry in nyc but the fact that the tickets expire after 3 months is so arbitrary and frankly just theft.

Cheap fabulous adventure

Best deal in town!!!!

Amazing

Great app super easy super helpful

Ease of use.

Very intuitive and easy to use, drop down the map or choose a pier easy to find departure times.
Best way to see NYC !

Phone registration is not working

They ask email right after, why tf you even need that? Just give me the phone option

NYC Ferry

Great boat to get into city

No account?

Have not yet used the app…because w/o signing up for an account it’s totally useless. One cannot review schedules, fares, policy, or do anything at all with it until an account is created. GROAN

don’t buy bulk tickets

beware: the ferry does not run often enough to keep up with demand so you will find yourself waiting an hour for the next boat when they show up and can only let on 3 people.

then when you ultimately have to find another way to reach your destination, because the next boat can only fit one more person, and now after 2.5 hours you’re the 5th person in line which is not good enough, you’ll realize it’s much more difficult to use those bulk tickets you bought than you initially thought. over the years i’ve spent more than $100 in unused ferry rides because they expire after 3 months. this ferry system is nyc’s biggest tease

Great public transportation

This app is great to get updates on all the new cool ferry events and you will know when the ferry is not running. And this app helps you know exactly when the ferry is coming

Luxury travel

The NYC Ferry is the premium way to travel through the boroughs of NYC. With its amazing scenic routes and affordability for everyone I can’t think of a better way to experience the city of New York.

My favorite public transportation app

Or maybe any transportation app. Accurate info and has simple UI

Weather

In cold weather or rain we need some type of shelter

Total Garbage

Offline tickets don’t work and for some reason the app consumes insane amounts of data (10G in 2 weeks), more than my YouTube or FaceTime usage.

Apple Pay not Working

This app left me stranded on my way to Governors Island because I cannot buy a ticket via Apple Pay. It worked before, but seems like it does not anymore.
