Any links check including safe known links gives my Subject message. I completely cleaned my iPhone to original settings but still get the subject message. Please help.

I enjoy this app and allows me to get some visibility on my phone.

It tells me if the wi-fi that I am linked to is secure
It seems to be from NYC ? Yet when I link up to the NYC free wi-fi the app lists it as unsecure

What do this actually do?
Would love to know what this actually does? Checks to see if the wifi network is password protected? How much did the city pay to make this?
