Wonky software
OBDeleven tells me to use OBDeleven vag. OBDeleven vag tells me to use OBDeleven. Both have trouble connecting. It then says I have 5 faults. I go to each section that is supposed to have faults and it says no faults. Frustrated.

This product is a scam. They will get you for the product, then will ask for money for credits, then make you buy a subscription. Stay away. Cost me $300+ at the end of everything to perform a battery adaptation

First they sell you a lifetime license, then abandon development in favor of subscription based only model on a new app.
Seems to be a classic scam these days. Filmic did the exact same thing.
That being said it’s still possible to get some value out of this app even on “free” plan. I quote because we all bloody paid top dollar for the device that costs few bucks to manufacture, so it’s not free by any means.

New OBDEleven App HOPELESS!!!
So I just installed the replacement app because you say all the functionality of the VAG app has been moved across.
ABSOLUTE RUBBISH! On my 2025 Q4 the new app could only find 22 modules out of 34 and took three times as long to find them, only found a few error codes (way less than present) and under the magic settings of the module I wanted to work on the options were not all present.
OBDEleven is heading down a road that completely diminishes its usefulness to me so after several years of Ultimate subscriptions this will be the last - it will not be renewed and the interfaces (OBD2 & OBD3 will be sold.
AS FOR YOUR FEEDBACK GET AN AUDI, TEST ON BOTH SO YOU WILL SEE THAT THE NEW VERSION ONLY FINDS HALF OF THE MODULES AND VIRTUALLY NONE OF THE ERROR CODES THAT THE NEE APP FINDS. WHY SHOULD I DO THIS WORK FOR YOU WHEN I HAVE BEEN AN ULTIMATE PAYER FOR YEARS…
Not to mention the awful design, slower response time, (even on v3 interface), and very confusing meddle of unusable and questionable features.

These guys greed took over and the app is useless now. While its worked okish with my mk7 golf, it became laggy on mk8, and it’s completely useless with id.4. UI doesnt refresh, “reading” or “connecting” for 20 mins and hangs 3 out of 4 times. Recently discovered i cant use many features i supposed to be using due to my lifetime pro subscription and they direct you to the other app, which asks to buy another pro subscription. One click apps are ridiculously expensive too. Started great, but it’s time for me to go back to vcds and dfirst.

Was good at first. The. Since a year and half ago, it’s with a lot of glitch and bugs. Scanning doesn’t work plus if it scans, clearing the faults doesn’t work at all. Tried it on VW ID4. 2021 and above models

so you buy the sensor, then you have to download the app. then you need to buy a $80 or $300 subscription and even at the highest level you will still need to pay for credits within the app.
the device is $90 so you’re like $200 in not including credits. absolutely ridiculous.
