Needs improvement

It is pretty good, but there’s room for improvement. Could use more customizations

Easy to use!!!

This app was easy to use and understand right from the get-go. The Bluetooth interface is fast and easy to connect to. In the app allows for expansion packs to work on specific issues. I would recommend this to everyone.

Needs iOS app

I purchased an OBD links MX plus to do proxy alignment on my Chrysler 200 with the alpha app, but I had to use my android tablet to actually connect to the modules with the alpha app this OBD links app sync up perfectly to show me everything else though it’s like having one of those big fancy scanners just on my phone it did everything I needed to do couldn’t have asked for anything else

Great Value

I needed additional parameter monitoring for an intermittent engine problem I was having that my basic OBD scanner couldn’t provide. Exceeded my expectations. Love it! I had a question I sent to product support and got a super fast response as well. Thanks!

FAQ

What does the OBDLink app do?

The OBDLink app transforms your smartphone or tablet into a comprehensive diagnostic scan tool for your vehicle. It allows you to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, check emissions readiness, monitor over 90 real-time engine parameters, and calculate fuel economy.

What are the key features of OBDLink?

Key features include reading and clearing diagnostic trouble codes, displaying real-time data with customizable dashboards, calculating fuel economy, logging data to CSV format, and generating full diagnostic reports that can be emailed or uploaded. It also supports GPS tracking to plot vehicle parameters on a map.

Is OBDLink free to use?

The OBDLink app itself is free to download and use. However, it exclusively works with specific OBDLink adapters (MX+, CX, MX WiFi). The MX+ adapter provides unlimited free OEM add-ons and has no in-app fees, but other adapters may have associated costs or in-app purchases for additional features.

What vehicles is OBDLink compatible with?

The app is designed to work with vehicles that are OBD-II compliant. It requires a compatible OBDLink adapter (OBDLink MX+, OBDLink CX, or OBDLink MX WiFi) to function. It will not work with any other brand of OBD adapter.

How can I use OBDLink to check my car's emissions?

The app provides emissions readiness status for each US state. You can check if your vehicle is ready for an emissions test by reading this information within the app, helping you identify any potential issues before a formal inspection.
