Very unintuitive
Very unintuitive, just a note if users create a graph they most likely want to export it as a csv as well. Makes no sense why they show us a tiny graph that you can’t export. Also hire a real UI designer.
Useless
Incredible useless app, spent 150 dollars on their obd adaptor just to be able to do nothing with it through their app. I will return the device!

Garbage for Hyundais
I’m trying to use this app alongside my OBDLink MX+ to read ATF temps in order to make sure the level is correct per Hyundais directions, but even with advanced diagnostics for Hyundais enabled I can’t find it after searching for 20+ minutes.
Installed Car Scanner and was able to find the value within 3 minutes.

Terrible OBD2 Reader, good for bidirectional use
Bought this because its bidirectional, does that job just fine. This OBD2 is not reliable to tell me what the codes are on my ram1500. im looking at lit a lit up dashboard of alarms and the app is saying theres no active codes. Brought out my other, old cheap, obd2 reader and it immediately told me theres 4 active codes. Mx+ is trash obd2 reader. not reliable and only good for bidirectional, not diagnostics. Shame.

Obdlink mx + is amazing
Thanks to this machine and app it is helping me diagnose all the electrical problems on my jeep. This has been a bigger helped than the other OBD scanners I’ve had.

Works just right excellent app. The only problem is it is difficult to get the gauges you want all on the same page.
Powerful and stable
Great app! There are a ton of options for organizing and changing the look of live data, and the app has always been stable for me. It connects and typically stays connected, with just the occasional hiccup. I enjoy the feature where you can set the ranges and enable alerts outside of a given range. This is an excellent option for a live data dashboard on your phone.

Needed to check why the engine light was on. Did the job and read the fault codes to find out if the car can be driven.

Still Missing Advanced Diagnostics for BMW and VW
One of the better OBD apps but it’s missing crucial Advanced Diagnostics for BMW Group and VW Group vehicles so can’t recommend.
Also the route tracking it’s very buggy and broken.
Performance measurements are a cool feature though.

Won’t Connect
Won’t connect to Windows laptops or computers. Tried everything and wasted a lot of time and money. Connects to iPhone just fine, but you can’t do anything of significance with it.
Great Service
My scanner became unsupported. When I asked about that they sent me the latest model! Like the old one it is easy to use and can provide lots of real-time information in customizable screens.
Extra gauges
It is a great app. I use it on my BMW f32 for extra gauges on boost, battery status, water temperature as well as rpm, A/F ratio and range for petrol and the occasional check on failure codes in the system.
Would be great to have even more data available to read during driving e.g. oil pressure, gear, …

Powerful w/Great layout and easy to use
The OBDLink MX+ is simple to use, great loyout that displays information in a logical way, and gets right to work with any diagnosis. It’s easy to use and does what it’s supposed to do.
Mode 6 Data is not Sorted Correctly
Overall, I like the reliable Bluetooth connection and chart selection and customization ability. You can realistically display 8 small charts on your screen (you can add more smaller charts, but it may be too small to view).
However, the On-Board tab (Mode 6) of the Monitors section is very hard to read because of the way it is sorted. The data is sorted by Component ID (CID) instead of Test ID (TID) or Monitor ID (MID). Depending on the vehicle, CID is a subset of both TID and MID.
