About

No Ads, No Subscriptions, No Tracking. Odin’s Drop 4+ is the drop game four ways, from three in a row on a small board made for young players to six in a row across eleven columns. Pick a column and your coin falls as far as it can. One price, the whole game. No in-app purchases, no third-party ads, and no tracking. PLAY TOGETHER, YOUR WAY Live online: challenge a friend and trade moves in real time. Turn-based online: play at your own pace without being online together. Nearby: connect device to device and play without a Game Center account. Pass & Play: share one screen and take turns. In a live or nearby rematch the sides swap, so nobody keeps the opening. Online matches use Game Center. Turn notifications and a Home Screen widget show when you have moves waiting, and Siri can continue your game. OPTIMIZED FOR IPHONE DUO Open the phone and the board fills the inner display; close it and your game carries on, on the outer display, right where you were. FOUR BOARDS, ONE RULE Drop a coin and it falls to the lowest free cell in its column. Line up enough of your coins in a row, column, or diagonal and you win; a full board with no line is a draw. Drop Three: five columns, five rows, three in a row. Made for the youngest players. Drop Four: seven columns, six rows, four in a row. The classic. Drop Five: nine columns, seven rows, five in a row. More room, longer plans, and a single threat is never enough. Drop Six: eleven columns, eight rows, six in a row. A long game of threats stacked on threats. Bigger boards are worth more XP. HOUSE RULES Runestones: a few neutral runestones land on the board before play. Every game opens from a different position, and no line runs through a stone. Undertow: on your turn, drop a coin or pull one of your own from the bottom row, and the whole column sinks. A full board is not the end; when a position repeats three times, the game is a draw. Turn either one on, or both, from House Rules on the main menu. They work in every mode, and a turn-based or nearby invitation names them before your friend accepts. A NEW PAIR OF COINS EVERY GAME The coins are painted Viking portraits, a hundred of them from the longhouse of Odin’s Viking Chess, and every game deals a fresh pair. Or pick another look in Settings: engraved faces, Viking runes or checkers pieces. FIND YOUR CHALLENGE Play solo against four computer strengths: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. Get comfortable with a new board, then raise the difficulty when you’re ready. Every board can be won. Want a nudge? The coach suggests a column and can point out an immediate win or a way to avoid an immediate loss. Undo during local play lets you try another approach, and the Video Instructions and How to Play teach every board. MAKE YOUR PROGRESS COUNT Earn XP, climb the ranks from Wanderer to Grand King, and pursue 23 achievements and 10 Game Center leaderboards. Your games save as you play, and iCloud carries them to your other devices. A PLACE AT THE BOARD An oak board, painted coins, and Longhouse gold bring the world of Odin’s Checkers to the drop game. One purchase plays it on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac, in 50 languages, with VoiceOver and Dynamic Type. Made by the team behind Odin’s Checkers, Squared², Odin’s Tic-Tac-Toe, Odin’s Viking Chess, and Odin’s Reversi. The only promotions you’ll see are for our own games. Choose a board. Drop a coin. See who wants the rematch.

What's New in Odin's Drop 4+

1.2.0

October 28, 2026

New: optimized for iPhone Duo. • Open the phone and the board fills the inner display; close it and your game carries on, on the outer display, right where you were. • Stand it partly open like a book: the board stays on the flat half, the players and whose turn it is on the standing one. • Video Instructions gain an iPhone Duo chapter, played on a Duo. Also in this version: • The Video Instructions gain a new chapter after the opening film, Using the App: dropping a coin, the game's controls, the menu and Settings. • How to Play explains all four boards, not only the one you are playing; on Apple TV its long cards read a step at a time. • No faded coin shows where yours would land any more: the column's outline and its arrow mark your aim. • Fastest Expert Win takes a time only from a classic game: Runestones and Undertow change the race, so a win with either on still counts and earns its achievements but posts no time. • House Rules has a button that turns them all off, and the board and difficulty you last played are remembered. • Restart and Play Again keep the coach as you set it, a resumed coached game shows its hint at once, the computer's coin lands before your turn comes back, and Siri's Continue never replaces the game on screen. • Online: finishing a match no longer removes a game you had saved; rematch requests that cross start one game instead of leaving both players waiting; a finished match counts its XP once, even after a relaunch; and when your account can't start a rematch, the message says what to do. • Apple TV: each board is sized to fit the screen and centered, so Drop Three no longer runs past the bottom; the cursor stays on the side rail when a coin lands; Play/Pause opens the pause card with Resume chosen, never over a finished game; How to Play's cards no longer lift, and its Controls card says Back pauses the game; the sign to pass the remote sits over the board; More Games' code says where it leads; the footer fits the rail; the results card fits the screen in every language; and the Video Instructions show the app's screens whole. • Mac: the menu opens in two columns with everything in view; the online hub says click and right-click; Undo and Restart wait while a lesson or a dialog is open, and Restart leaves a finished game's result on screen; Help's How to Play and Video Instructions open over the live search; Toggle Sound works off a game. • Cards drawn over the game are solid, Stop Replay no longer covers the controls, Settings rows and the names of players and devices wrap instead of being cut, a crowd of nearby players scrolls, the iPhone's game buttons stay on screen in every language, and on an iPhone Duo the nearby invitation sits on the board's half.
