Needs a refresh
Frequent slow loading, occasional freezing, and random force closes make the app frustrating to use. The UI feels dated and could use a modern update. Better map functionality and quick-filter tabs for Type 1, Type 2, and Split Shift assignments would significantly improve usability. Hoping to see performance and quality-of-life improvements in future updates

Notifications
When you receive a notification, and tap on it, it does not take you to the job you were just notified on. You have to go to the available jobs and look for the job that you’re just notified about. That needs a lot of work.

App is fine. It works as I’m sure it’s intended to. Main gripes are as follows:
1: Can’t see jobs that are full
2: Clicking on a notification doesn’t take you directly to the job, just the main screen
3:It takes forever to load, and even when it does load, you have to pull down to make it reload about half the time before you can see anything

WOW
I’ve noticed a major improvement in the OfficerTrak app recently. The loading times are significantly faster and much more responsive than before, which makes a huge difference when trying to snag shifts on the go. One of the biggest improvements is that minimizing the app no longer crashes the session — I can switch between apps and come back without having to reload everything.
Overall, the performance upgrade is very noticeable. The app feels smoother, more stable, and much more reliable in real-world use. Great job to the team for listening to feedback and making meaningful improvements.

Unfortunately my agency requires us to use this. It constantly crashes, freezes, and logs you out.
You can’t even switch to another app like your calendar to look at dates without it freezing and crashing.
They charge a ridiculous fee for something that barely works.

This is the worst off-duty app. Expensive, so many extra fees and the App never works properly. Slower than a fire department response.
Needs a lot of work
Other than the numerous crashes I get when I open the app, the worst is the job listings. It drives me crazy I can’t set the radius of jobs I want to see in my area. Why would I care or even want to go to a job on the other end of the state? At the very least make radius preferences or county listings

After using Officer Trak for a while, it continues to be a very poor system. The platform is not user-friendly, and even with familiarity, it remains unusable and inefficient. Simple tasks take far too long along with excessive steps and lag on every step along the way.
The system is always slow, always laggy, and always unreliable. This disrupts productivity rather than supporting it. Data entry feels repetitive and cumbersome. Overall, continued use has not led to improvement, and Officer Trak remains a time-consuming and frustrating tool that requires major usability and performance improvements to be effective. I dont know why my agency and any other moved to such a terrible platform.

Garbage
This app is absolute garbage. Our agency just went live with it and it takes forever to load and constantly crashes. Doesn’t matter what setting I put, see newest jobs first or chronological order, it does what it wants.

For the amount of money they charge the vendors, they could have an application that actually works. It’s laggy, shuts down when it actually opens up. Even the web application is garbage.
Constantly logs out
The app works well as long as it’s logged in. However for the last 2 or 3 months now, the app logs me out randomly at least once week. And if you’re not logged in, you don’t get any notifications that shifts are available.

This application is absolutely horrendous, I don’t understand how this company can make the money they make from these agencies and yet not put any money into this application to make this smooth as possible. The app constantly loading and loading and loading then sometimes it randomly crashes on you. That’s completely unacceptable this company makes too much money for the lag and ridiculous loading buffer when you open the app up to be a constant issue. I hope they fix these issues, is they even take the time to read these reviews.

Very Slow and Buggy
This app is very buggy on iPhones. Mind you I have the 16 pro. The app seems to run better on Android. Please update!

RollKall is a much better alternative to this app. It is smooth and the UI fits today’s standards. Also stop with the fake 5 star reviews! If you’re an agency looking into this app, steer away from it. They clearly don’t care about investing into their ecosystem.

This app continually crashes when you open and try to assign a job. Or it freezes and you have to force close. Need to work on this app asap and fix it.
Dumpster Fire
Another update saying “fixing bugs.” The app is still slow, still crashes, and still won’t load. It took 5 minutes to load after the new update. Officer TRAK is the only app that vet worse with every update. No agency should contract with this company.

This is the worse app possible. Runs super slow, crashes 90% of the time.
Worst of the worst
This application causes more frustration than it solves. The waiting time for screens to load are worse than anything I’ve encountered before. Despite numerous updates, the lag persists, making it a complete nightmare. If you’re selecting multiple jobs in a single session, you'll spend more time waiting for the screen to load than you’d like, rendering the process frustrating and outdated. If your members have the opportunity to vote on selecting your off-duty app, I strongly advise steering clear of this application.

Horrible glitches won’t load
Recently implemented this at our Florida agency for Offduty. This app is the worst I’ve ever experienced. On cellular or WIFI, OfficerTRAX app constantly does not load or force closes. Jobs are lost since this app is so glitchy and unreliable. For the income this company makes, I would expect a better performing app. 0 stars. Running on the latest app update, and iPhone 16 Pro. I have yet to ask another Deputy that does not experience these issues.
