UWG4 Support Terminated
Super annoying I spent close to $500 on two thermostats and they were effectively bricked to manual thermostats. Spoke to a VP in the US whom I accessed on LinkedIn who attempted to get me help, but was completely ignored. If you have a UWG and you want remote access, you have to buy something else, the UWG4 is dead!

Worthless App
Very user unfriendly. Does not stay on schedule.
No landscape mode
App will not rotate to landscape mode
Incredibly disappointing
I spent a lot of money on this WiFi thermostat because I wanted to be able to control my thermostat remotely. The interface is primitive and buggy. I try to enter certain times for the heating schedule and the app overrides my choices. There’s supposed to be a way to connect the thermostat with Alexa via the app, but that is not possible. There should be a way to turn off the floor heater when you’re away, but there’s not.

App is Horrible
Was Logged Out and there isn’t a way to retrieve or reset my password.
App literally doesn’t work.
I get a connection error every time. App is unusable.

It doesn’t have a weekly input if you want to change the schedule for the whole week . You have to change every day.
Unusable
I have two. One won’t connect to wifi. Both won’t let me adjust the schedules. I have toggled them off and hit save 100 times now. They always toggle back on. It’s actually obscene!
Account activation instructions wrong
When you try to login you are prompted to do some account activation on your thermostat. ‘Follow those instructions for activation, WiFi’. But, the thermostat gives no instructions! It’s attached to WiFi and that’s it. Can’t connect app

It does not work. My network can’t find the thermostat and I can’t login. What’s the use.
Why doesn’t UWG4 version connect to Google Home?
I’ve been using this app for almost two years but recently decided to connect this to my Google Home Control Center for convenience for my entire home. However, UWG4 is not listed even though the sister app that ends in “5” is. This is troubling and may force me to discard this thermostat controller for my floor heat in my sunroom and buy a Watts Water product to consolidate my house control. That is very unfortunate and therefore deserves a decrease in rating.

App broke functionality in this latest version.
After updating the app on an iPhone13, functionality has regressed. The title bar is no longer showing up properly. This makes it difficult or impossible to navigate after a thermostat is selected or when I want to go to the settings page.
Works fine until you get logged out
The app was working fine for me (it is basic but fonctional) until I got logged out and was not able to log back in. There is absolutely nowhere to retrieve your login information (no “Forgot password” button) and now my fancy WiFi thermostat is just a thermostat. No WiFi access…
It is very unfortunate in this day and age that developers are not more on point with the technology and user-friendly interface.
There is also nowhere to go on their website either, no FAQs page or anywhere to get help.
I have contacted OJ Electronics and waiting for their answer. Will add stars if they respond and solve this issue…

Signing in
There is no where on this app to set up an account. You can login or view the demo. I can’t run the app if I can’t find a way to set up an new email and password. Basically it’s worth what I paid for it. Nothing.

Very basic
Well, interface looks very similar to what you see in the actual device, but only for the schedule setup, other settings have to be change directly on the thermostat. On the other hand what I most change is the schedule so… it’s a fair app.
Very basic but works!
Easy programming (though as another reviewer pointed out, unclear how to group—list of devices is labeled “ungrouped,” which implies ability to group)...it would be nice to be able to program the screen appearance (add background photo, etc) beyond the three options for sleep screen, but I installed these because they work, and my previous fancier thermostats were unintuitive and difficult to use. This app and the devices themselves are both very basic but functional.
