App just stopped allowing me to view or download recordings. Making the dashcam totally useless

Does what it needs to for the most part. One thing I’d like to see fixed is when viewing a video from the phone (in full screen) it does not properly enter full screen so the bar at the bottom of the iPhone used for home/navigation actions gets in the way of seeking in the video. I’d love to see this get addressed

App works and free
This is the primary app I used for my Focuway Duo4 4K dash cam. Once you enabled the wifi on your dash cam and it’s very easy to connected no issues. It works great but could be improved better that’s why give 4 stars. Downloading 4K video with 3 minutes looping is over 650 MB which could take over 1 minutes to download. So I changed the 4K recording to 1 minute looping and it’s much faster to download. Great app for dash cam for free!

Great camera
I use this for my 97 jdm cresta for the front and rear. The app was easy to use like most security cameras you’d buy on Amazon, it works the same way. When choosing a micro usb drive, get the 1tb. It will last you up to 1-2 years of storage. For me it’s worth it, insurance companies are unforgiving, and I love to be right.

Very useful
Used many times. Specifically with Focuway cams. Going to use it today after some idiot threatened and verbally assaulted staff at a drs office i was at. It can offload decently right to the phone with full quality and allows quick access via wifi when a sd adapter or tablet/pc is not available to access. I can access both dash cams i have (one front w/ gps and inside cam, another non gps but fromt and rear 24/7

Not functional with IOS 18.5
Upon updating my iPhone 13 to IOS 18.5, my OKCAR dash cam (FOCUWAY-D2- DUOaf9f) is not functioning. What gives???

Picture great whilst driving ? Downside is you need to be really close to your car for iiwecar to Connect with your Phone for night mode parking ! For that 2 stars nocking of ?

I agree with the other review regarding “ can’t connect with the camera”. I also connected once with the camera but can no longer get reconnected… stuck in a loop saying I need to connect with the WiFi! What a joke!
Useless!
Gets caught in an endless loop and never gives access to settings or anything at all. Had to do all the set up manually on the actual dashcam… this app is a total waste of time! I wish so much it would have worked!
App doesn’t connect
Worked great for about 3 months then all of a sudden, NOTHING!!! Constant loop. I’ve deleted the WiFi as well as the app hoping once reinstalled it would work but it hasn’t.
Functions Satisfactorily
I use this application with my Focuway D2-DUO dash cam. It is installed on an iPhone X using i.O.S. 16.
I have not encountered any difficulties while utilizing the app. My phone links easily to the dash cam's wi-fi, and once connected, the application allows me to access recorded footage, change settings, etc.
The only issue I've come across is when playing back recorded videos. As the video plays, a map which shows the car's location (optional G.P.S. feature) is displayed. Despite adjusting the units to m.p.h., the map still expresses my car's speed in k.p.h. This is more of a nuisance than a genuine problem.
Overall, I feel that this application performs as advertised and is a suitable companion to my Focuway dash cam.
