I am unable to pay any amount to my mortgage other than the exact monthly due. This is very inflexible and doesn’t allow variations to paying.

The worst mortgage company!

If I could give 0 stars I would! Absolute nightmare working with this company! Customer service is useless! They took 2 mortgage payments out on me in the same day! I called to request a refund and was told 5 business days plus paper check in mail. Absolutely not am I waiting 2 weeks for MY money this company had no rights to take! Continue to call back to get update on possible getting this issue expedited and we are now on day 3 of my money not being back in my bank! Absolutely awful! Do not work with this company!

Payments

It is 5:39 pm on august 1 and I just made my payment. It shows I paid it on august 2. The payment terms say it will show as paid on day you pay but process on the next business day. So why am I showing the 2nd is my process date?

Bad app

There are multiple 1 star reviews I’ve read that have the same problem as me. Takes forever for the app to load. My mortgage got sold to this company. I can’t even figure out how to make a payment. There is no option to simply “make a payment”. This is just ridiculous.

Horrible payment system

When you sign up for auto pay for the very next month, they change it to the following month, if something is wrong with your payment, they have no communication with you at all. There needs to be huge changes as I take being on time with my mortgage more than serious!

Easy and quick and

Onity knows how to manage a platform! So incredibly easy to set up and use. Gave me peace of mind to have the ability to pay my mortgage on the go!!

Face recognition just kept buffering and I was advised to set up my account 2 weeks before the app or Onity was ready, so basically i stressed and attempted to access my Onity App which was never ready nor allowed.

Difficult to use

I agree with the previous review. I have been trying to upload the app and my password for 30 minutes now. I thought it was me doing something wrong. But once I changed my password and signed in, I got the loading symbol forever. I’m still waiting for it to load. I’m thinking that I should have just kept the PHH/ MQ app. But I was trying to take away the confusion.

Get the basics

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this one earned it.

Just get the basics right. It is 2026, and it should not be a hassle to use a password manager (Apple Passwords or Google Password Manager) with your app.

Copy and paste does not work properly. If you get locked out, the support phone number is not clickable and cannot even be copied. I literally had to write it down on a piece of paper and dial it manually. 😅😅😅

The app might have great features, but basic usability issues like these create a frustrating experience that should have been solved years ago.

I called before my payment was due to set up a payment for the upcoming bill and set up auto payments. I expressed over and over to the agent how I was to stay on track and not get behind. My payment was never processed.

So frustrating

My bank supported PHH with electronic payment and everything went smoothly but it doesn’t support Onity. Took me an hour or more just to create an account and log in. System clocking/buffering. Then trying to setup autopay and info drops out of previously completed fields. Spent most of my day trying to deal with your company’s transition of name from PHH to Onity (oh please!!! Who came up with that?? “Name designed with customers in mind” - gag!!) app is anything but user friendly!

impossible to use

took me half the day to get this app to let me create an account. after i finally got it created, i logged in for the first time and the app just sat there with that spinny “loading” thing for ever and ever and ever.

do you my payment or not? no, you don’t. your business is foreclosures. that’s why you have half a dozen other nonfunctioning but identical apps on here, that’s why you don’t update the loan originator on payment instructions - the point is to create confusion and roadblocks to making payments on time so you can collect more fees.

you weaponize incompetence with the goal of stealing people’s homes. this company has faced these accusations for almost 20 years and they just rebranded AGAIN to escape their bad reputation. they haven’t changed.

there is no way for us to pay you after you buy our mortgage without our consent. if this was not true, the app would work just like every other app in this app store. there is literally no excuse in the year 2026 for an app to behave this way - so the most plausible explanation is that this is intentional.
