Absolute rubbish
Several times a week this app doesn’t locate us. Today, it hasn’t located my son in SIX days, my daughter in two, and now, apparently, my husband is stuck on a main street and has been for an hour. And they tell me I’ve been off grid for four. Why? All our permissions are granted! They’re never cut off, so why is it so hard to track in this hard, cold world?

My phones get stuck in locations for hours and the only way to get them to move is to reboot all phones.
Not accurate
It says one member of my family is sitting on the other side of a lake and been there for 3 weeks. He is currently an hour drive away from where it says he is at.
Comfort
After the death of both my husband and my daughter in 2021, Onstar has continued to keep the remaining family I have in my view. Through Onstar, I find comfort knowing that they are OK.
Senseless
I only want roadside assistance. I don’t want to give you access to track me 24x7, motion and fitness activity, along with everything else. If I don’t do that then you want let me access the app. How stupid. Typical of brain dead GM. So I will enable all that privacy invasion if I need roadside to enable the app. My car and phone already have crash protection. The only reason I installed this garbage is because of my in-laws and wife worrying with it.

Massive Battery Drain
OnStar Guardian is a massive drain on my battery to the extent I had to uninstall it.

Best Employee Ever
Okay so Shaylana is the greatest employee and person ever. I live in AZ and it is so hot. Got my keys locked inside the car and spent a million hours trying get it open in the blazing sun. I got the bright idea to call on star and she answered and had it unlocked in like a minute. She was calm cool and collected the whole time. Give her a raise or a bonus or something.

Garbage App for Old People and Families
My mom tries to add me to her account for OnStar but whenever I enter my username and password it just takes me to a blank gray page and nothing changes. POS app don’t waste your money

This app used to be well worth it now I’m questioning it as I’ve been on hold for over 40 minutes and the bot has hung up on me, I used to be able to just put the year make and model of the car in and someone would contact me within 10 minutes now that option is completely gone but still advertised in the app pictures I no longer would recommend paying for this service

Not working!
When to create an online account based on my husband, inviting me with a code. downloaded the app and began creating my own account and finally pressed the create account button after putting in a new password and it brought me to a blank screen with your help button up at the top right and I clicked on that and nothing happened. Help button does not work and gives me a blank screen several times. I’m using a new email so it couldn’t possibly be that I have a profile from a previous account. Don’t have the foggiest idea how to get help.

App issues
App keep glitching and kicks me out when looking at family members location. Had been an issue for a couple of years. When contact services support was advise to redownload app and I have done that literally 100 plus times and issues still continues.

It’s pretty good but I don’t know where my fam exactly is at.. like right now I tried finding my dad and he called me and he was moving his care but the app tells me hi stopped his car but I wish this could would faster

I tried to log into the app and all I get is a blue screen with help button outlined in the top right hand corner and no answers or obvious ways to fix the issue.
