Wasted money

I do not have a clue how to use this app. It tells all major highways. But not the highway I travel. The date for app. 2017. Is this app updated.

app crashes when opened

my ont road app has been great, it works way better than ont 511, however just in the last 2 weeks when i open the app it crashes and reverts back to my home screen, im using iphone 11 with latest operating system so not sure what to do, ive uninstalled ans reinstalled it as well abd does same thing

Winter Conditions not working

Bought the app bundle (ont and bc) for the road conditions. This feature still does not work on iPad, which is the device I installed it on. Please fix.

Amazing App, Great Customer Service

This app is amazing, I snowplow would being able to access all these cameras in a nice layed out app is amazing.

Toronto has some data errors with their cameras some times, but the customer service responded quick to my email they were very nice and had the issue fixed within minutes.

Great app, I recommend getting

Ontario roads app

I love this app. I use it daily to help my older children navigate the highways around Toronto and Ottawa. While I love the road conditions recently added I love that I’m able to switch it off so I can concentrate on accidents to help navigating the busy highways. Would recommend to everyone

Awful

Not what I was expecting!!! Need up to date road conditions!!

Thanks for the feedback. I have taken on-board your request and have added winter road conditions to the app. It also now includes a "Winter Road Conditions" on/off switch on the settings page so you can choose whether to see winter road conditions or not. I hope this helps. The new version was released earlier today.

Good app

So far the app is good. Recently I suggested that road conditions due to weather should be included. I got a reply and they now are. Nice to a developer so responsive.

Needs major improvement

App works sometimes but crashes often or doesn’t show info even though it says you online.

Disappointed

Would really like to see the road conditions as you would on the internet. Would be way more helpful to see if visibility is good or not or what you are getting into as you drive to your destination. Not worth the money.

Very disappointing

As it stands, certainly not worth the money. Sparse information, still unable to load cameras. I had expected to be able to see road conditions (bare, partially covered, covered, closed, etc) as I can on a similar Alberta based app. If this app has been on the market for at least a year, as it appears, the developer has not addressed the issues identified by previous years. The app is not helpful at all, and I feel “ripped off”.

511 Hwy info app

I am disappointed. The Hwy status won’t update. The app says there are 3 cameras at a location but only 1 shows up. The pictures from the cameras are too small.

Useless

You can see everything on google maps except the cameras and the cameras are just a still pic not live cams.

I'm sorry you are not finding my app useful. If you go into the Settings screen you can enable "Roadworks to show" and this will show more events affecting roads. I get my data from the Ontario 511 feed so the data shown in the app is the same as the 511 website. Please email me if you would like further discussion, thanks.

Ontario traffic map

This app sucks big time. It tells you absolutely nothing about road conditions. I thought I was buying the ontario 511 road conditions map. This is useless. DO NOT BUY THIS APP. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
