Overcharged For Hotel
I was incorrectly quoted and charged for a hotel stay back in June through Orbitz. I’ve tried to resolve through Orbitz and they’ve stopped responding. I’ll never book through Orbitz again and have advised others to avoid as well.
Good Until It Wasn’t
Hanoi, Vietnam scam hotel did not get any help from Orbitz. Took 2 hours of sending photos and screenshots to prove to Orbitz customer service that the hotel I booked through their service did not exist. At 2 am, knowing nothing about the country, I was finally able to convince customer service to rebook at another hotel 15 minutes away. Arrived at nearly 3am. Had to check out at noon. The worst thing was earlier that day I received a suspicious message telling me to go to a different location, so I contacted Orbitz to verify the stay. Orbitz then reassured me that the hotel was legit and even said they spoke with someone at the property. All of this was untrue.

Huge cancellation fees!
I booked a car for October. It’s July. Reservation was $57. Great deal. Now I don’t need it. App wants to charge me $53 to cancel. BS.
