Scanner only works intermittently on lottery tickets (Powerball, Megabucks, Megamillions).

The app updates were working fine until today, and now it won’t scan lottery tickets. Reinstalled the app, turned my phone on and off. No luck.
I wish this app would get fixed-I am using an iPhone 15 so the camera works. This app is the only one where scanning is so hit or miss. It is better with scratchers but not much. Tried changing the settings on my camera, tried with and without flash, scanned side to side, and nothing helped. Deleted and reinstalled the app, too. Really frustrating. UPDATE April 2024 I can’t believe it but this is worse. Now the app logs me out and then doesn’t let me log in due to a network error. My internet is fine and the app is on my phone, so cellular should work as a back up. Scanner is still hit or miss when I am logged in. Key issue is also that the app is worse with the lottery tickets than with scratchers.
And -app support link doesn’t work either.

This does not allow you to buy tickets for ANY lottery on your phone. It serves literally no function. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to use this app

I am absolutely in love with this app. It is so easy to navigate which is a bonus for this 66 year old grandma! I really like the new updated version which makes scanning my tickets and scratchits a breeze! And it also automatically enters my non winning tickets into the second chance drawings! I’m keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed that I’ll be one of the lucky second chance winners in one of the upcoming drawings. You’re never too old to dream, right?

You don’t get my email, to scam my tickets. Stop with this. One star. I’d give it less if I could. You can’t use the app without sacrificing privacy. The Oregon Lottery is already predatory, offering poor tax and gambling addiction to the masses.

To check if you have a winning ticket, now you must have an account. This “feature” comes with this current update.
Message Notification go away
I always have a message on the front of the app notification and there is no notifications no messages in the app
Garbage Password Reset
App updated and I went to log in and it no longer recognizes my password, try to go through the reset and the website blocks secure generated passwords and gives errors on everything I type in. Fix your garbage coding Oregon.

Made it login to use the only useful feature of the app—scanning tickets.
Doesn’t work
App does not send out verification email to create an account so I can scan a ticket. I’ve resent the verification email several times and waited 20 minutes and still no emails. POS app!

It’s a decent app but the ticket scanner is horrible. I spend more time trying to scan the tickets then I do actually playing them.

Oregon lottery app
I really like this app it helps me out a lot with knowing if I won or not on my scratch it’s and also lets me know about the new tickets lottery came out with and when others expire which benefits me tremendously cause I tend to hold onto my tickets till I absolutely need money. I also love the fact that I can buy and scratch tickets on the app as well and don’t even have to leave my house. Overall I am very happy and satisfied with the Oregon lottery app and highly recommended it to anyone who gambles especially with scratch it tickets and can promise that if u download the app you wont be disappointed
