Great value

Easy to use and very affordable

Impossible to add payment card

Goes into perma loop when trying to add payment card

Highly recommend staying away from the app if you’re a tourist

I tried to use this to get to Vigeland Park faster but it actually added to my ETA because the stations are on the outskirts of the park. I can imagine there not being enough stations in the city center as well and I was extremely jealous of all the people using Voi, Bolt, Ryde, literally any other service than this one. It cut my Vigeland park time from one hour to half an hour. Please stay away from this one for the time being

Great bike service

I like that each bike has a different name, they are easy to ride and get for a very affordable price.

Needs work!

A lot of pointless clicking, then the bike dock didn't work and I was suspended. Dumb.

Great Experience except the return

Overall, this bike program is easier than most in Europe. BUT, for a 188cm guy the seat doesn’t raise very high. Also, the locking process took me awhile to realize you must lift the bike as you insert the stem into the lock. But overall, I was satisfied.

Awesome ride

Out to Viking museum from Frogner!! 1 hour rt

Ok concept poor execution

You must use the bike only for a max of 60 minutes which is fine but there’s a lack of parking/locking stalls in the city (especially at highly trafficked areas) there is also few parking locations. I much preferred Donkey republic in Copenhagen and Amsterdam where you could just rent the bike for the day and lock it with your phone and park it where you wished. A similar locking alternative would make Oslo Bike a much better experience.

Bike docks often full

Decent app, but often impossible to return bikes because bike docks are full. Can be a real hassle sometimes.

Unintuitive and cannot use for me and my son.

Unintuitive and cannot use for me and my son.

No English

Wished the messages were in English.

Rides well but not good instructions

Difficult to work out how to hire one as I didn't realise location needs to be entered manually then at end bike doesn't just slip into the dock it must be lifted up. It was a good ride though, sturdy and gear shift very smooth

App failure causes disruption.

Family of 4 loading app on each phone

🤯

Paid for a day pass. Was able to use the bike for 60 minutes before having to return 🥴 Went to return at a nearby station and the lanes became full. I then had to cycle a further 10 minutes for which I was charged extra! Not just myself but my girlfriend too!

Better to rent a bike from a local place.

No support when messaging either! Ruined my day

Not a clear system. Extra hidden charges

We hired 2 bikes and chose the day pass rather than the hour pass. It was only after an hour that we discovered that if you don’t bring the bikes back before an hour then you’re charged extra per 15 minutes! No point in buying a day pass then!

Great Unless You Can’t Return

They’re great... but sometimes you have to visit many stops before you can put the bike away.

Raddest way to get around the city

Feel the breeze through your hair riding these well kept, speedy town bikes. Three gears is all you need to cruise through alleys and over bridges, seeing Oslo in a way impossible from any car or bus. You won’t break the bank either - for 5$ you’ve got 24 hours with 2 wheels and total freedom. Hop on the blissful blue Oslo bike; you won’t regret the sights and fun you’re guaranteed to experience.

Great way to get around

Love biking in Oslo. There are so few cars, and so many bike lanes, pedestrian zones.
My only complaint is that the app does not give you instructions on how to return the bike. The answer: snap the bike into any lock.

Very Disappointing - do not rent bikes!

My husband and I were very excited to rent bikes to explore Oslo. We found bikes no problem by the train station. We spent the entire day walking to nearby bike rental stations in which they had bikes but the computer said it was empty. We walked 6 miles that day looking for bikes and over 8 stations were broken and finally returned a bike and it didn’t register the bike upon return.

Bikes were broken, flat tires and totally damaged. Unless you were at one of the main populated areas, bikes were unavailable.

This was a terrible experience and a total waste of money. Explore Oslo by foot and NOT by bike.
