What's New in OSPOS
1.3.3
September 8, 2026
Your crew can take payments now — each on their own iPhone. TEAM ACCOUNTS Invite the people who work for you by email. Each one signs in on their own iPhone and takes card payments straight into the business account. No shared password, no second card reader to buy, nothing to set up on their end. - They create their own login from the invitation and join in one tap - Every sale records who rang it, and rolls up to the business - Your business name, tax rate and receipt wording follow them automatically, so nobody rings a sale at the wrong rate - Remove someone and their phone stops taking payments immediately, not whenever it next happens to check in WHO SOLD WHAT The Sales screen now breaks the day down by person — each one's takings, how many sales, and their share of the day. It only appears once more than one person has rung something up. A LOWER PRICE FOR CASH Set your prices once, then offer a discount to anyone paying cash. Both prices show side by side in the cart and again on the payment screen, so the customer can see what each way costs before they choose. Receipts record which price was actually charged. MORE ON THE SALES SCREEN Tips and refunds are now totalled for the day, and today's takings are compared with the day before. Each one stays hidden until there is something to show, so a quiet cash-only day still looks like a quiet cash-only day. SETTINGS, REORGANISED Settings is now grouped by who a setting belongs to. "Your business" holds the things shared with everyone on your team; "This device" holds the things that only affect the phone in your hand. Deleting your menu and deleting your account now live together in one place, instead of one tap below Sign out. FIXED - Tip amounts are charged exactly as shown. A tip could previously be added to the total twice on a card sale. - Add Item on iPhone shows its Save, Cancel and Delete buttons again. - You stay signed in. Sessions no longer expire daily, and you can sign back in from Settings > Account if you ever need to. - Signing out now signs you out everywhere. - If you are signed out, Settings > Account has a Sign in button. It used to say "sign in to take card payments" with no way to actually do it — the only escape was deleting and reinstalling the app, which took your menu with it. - The About screen names the correct licence.
