It's simple to use. Strangely some of the facilities such as pre-sets such as 'speech in noise', induction loops and the default settings have to be added by the shop.
It's a bit like buying a car and finding that you have to go back to the dealer for tyres.
There should be an 'app store' equivalent for Oticon.
These hearing aids are mine I don't rent them. I'd like to be in control of my own property.

Sound adjustments are minimal!!
Exceptional Support
Just upgraded to a new set of Oticon Hearing Aids and had some questions about them. Response was very quick and very informative. Highly recommend this brand.

I love my Oticon hearing aids and I don’t have to adjust them much, but when I do, the app makes it so easy. I love using my music program to stream music through my hearing aids, and I don’t have to worry about mashing the button correctly to get it to change programs.

Well, having a weekend just relaxing around home and trying to listen to my Bluetooth outdoor speaker I was frustrated as it turns out my Oticon
Zeal’s frequency were overlapping making it near impossible to use the speaker!
After trying many different adjustments to the Zeals and referring to the users manual I tapped into the Companion App on my phone and approached customer support.
Well, blow me down with a feather- I was astonished to get a reply keeping in mind this was a weekend!
After 2 or 3 goes, I was finally given the information that I needed to have the speaker working brilliantly with my Zeals still in my ears!
Awesome, wasn’t expecting that!

Great Service
I had an issue with my hearing aids, I contacted them on line and the service was first class. Precise, clear and accurate information given I was up and running in no time.

Relatively Intuitive
Menus are generally easy to follow but not always, particularly when it comes to Bluetooth. I like being able to check battery status and adjust the volume.
Almost perfect app
The app is great for controlling the volume and sound settings, but it resets to default settings every time you charge it.
Great but 1 thing missing
I like the app, it’s very convenient. I just wish I could turn off the Bluetooth to my hearing aids so I don’t have to turn it off on my phone when I want to share something with sound.

Keeps going out have returned and keeps going out. Now no sound after a few days. The office is great but a long way out of the way

I no longer see volume numbers. Just two bars. Liked it better when it showed volume by number
Resent update
The app was working perfectly. I’ve been using it for years. Suddenly, they decided to put out an update just recently. And now I lose connectivity all the time. Either my left goes out or my right will go out for no reason at all. I follow their instructions on how to reconnect, but it rarely works. They need to ditch the update and go back to the original app.

It sucks
It disconnects constantly even while in use. It used just be when I initially put my hearing aids in daily. Now it’s at least 4 times a day during the day and right now I can’t even get the left one to connect! 🥴

Product cost so prohibitive when replacing lost aids…and once aid is without power, they are impossible to trace/find!!

Not too bad BUT UNRELIABLE
OK this app works can well enough, BUT…
1. It is poorly designed visually and unimpressive BUT it works, when it works. It will NEVER win an award for graphic design. That is not a big deal -
2. I had to download load it twice to get the option to select program options. Once that issue was resolved, I was pleased.
3. Day 2. However: It vanished from my watch. On the iPhone (11pro) it could not connect to the left ear even though the battery was still OK. Even replacing the battery meant that the options for Program 1 general, Program 2 Music, and Progam 3 Headphones - were no longer there AGAIN! So back to square one. Download the watch App AGAIN. Restart the phone. Now we are back.
4. Day 3 Connection has been sort of OK but it is so much more work than the old version of the app…… Why the change if it is LESS STABLE?
5. The interface remains clumsy but the UNRELIABILITY IS NOT GOOD. You can now find your hearing aids if you misplace them.
6. Oticon need to up their game!
7. If this is not fixed soon I will be hunting for a different brand of hearing aids.

I’ve never had something that I liked so much but have had so many problems with. I have gone back to have these replaced twice not including another 10 to 12 times repaired
