Filters in public places don’t work
In public places like a baseball games and restaurants, there is not a filter that seems to work. Everything either gets shut down or is all so loud and of equal volume in my head/ears that I can’t understand anything being said.
Great App
I have just purchased Oticon hearing aids and they are fantastic compared to the ones I had from a well-known High Street opticians. They really have improved my quality of life. I have been wearing hearing aids for 15 to 20 years now and these are amazing. The app is very user-friendly and it’s also extremely helpful when in different environments. Mostly, I don’t have to make any changes day-to-day. Really happy with the hearing aids and the app.

This is the worst app I have ever used for troubleshooting. Zero understanding info wasn't user-friendly, no visual illustration.
Connections
Most times App does not accuratetly show if hearing aids are on or off. And sometimes it will connect hear aids with phone, often only one side and mostly not at all. Very poor connection compared to Starkly

Slow to develop basic features
The Oticon Companion app feels slow to adopt basic features that should be expected from a modern hearing-aid platform. There is no integration with Apple Health, no support for controlling hearing-aid functions through Apple Shortcuts, and no ability to create schedules or reminders to automatically change settings at specific times of the day.
For such an expensive and sophisticated piece of hardware, the software experience should be much more capable. Oticon makes excellent hearing aids, but the Companion app does not feel on par with the quality or price of the hardware. Better integration with the Apple ecosystem and basic automation capabilities would make a significant difference in the overall user experience.

Hearing aid App
Excellent product, very easy to download and use. I would recommend anyone with hearing aids to use it. Any questions you have the tech team reply in a very friendly and quick manner. The app allows you to connect to mobile phones and satnav.

Have used the app for some time. It is improving since I first used it. Some very good features like using your phone as a microphone. Have had occasion to use their support, which was excellent.

I’m on my 3rd pair and I’m always amazed how much they improve over the years. I’m 84 and just got this new set today. I’ve actually turned the volume down on the new ones. Highly recommend

Loving Oticon
I love the fact I have choices based on my environment. I don’t feel isolated and can be less stressed knowing I have a way of dealing with my hearing loss. It’s so easy with Oticon! Thank you Oticon!!!
Unable to pair mixed hearing aids
Can pair my Oticon Sage hearing aids OR my Oticon Ponto 5 Super bone-attached hearing BUT NOT one Sage hearing aid and the Ponto 5 which would be my preferred setup.
Good but could be even better…..Feature Request
The app offers good access to my Oticon Zeal features but I would love to be able to change Programs via an IOS shortcut. That way I could eg swap to “My Music” automatically when Carplay starts and back to “General” when I exit.
