Terrible format hard to use extremely frustrating hard to navigate not user friendly especially for someone who doesn’t know technology

Constant issues
I used to have an iPhone 15 and suffered from constant lag, force closing, and constant freezing during video calls. I upgraded to an iPhone 17 because they said iOS 26 on iPhone 15 was the problem. It was OK for a while, but now I’m back to all the same issues. I can’t reply to messages without having to force close the app. Every phone call we have, it’s frozen more than it’s active. The video freezes, but the audio is continuous. My signal is typically very good with 300 GB download speed. There’s no excuse for having an app with a cost of $150 annually with such poor performance.

It’s no better than…
… a proprietary calendar and text/email. And Way over priced. I have no problem using it, us having been ordered to use, but it does not save time nor is it easier. It also crashes and my phone is 16 pro max with current iOS.Great lobbying job OFW to get this gig.
Bad irony - unwanted expense
Ex wife was verbally abusive for decades and now I’m forced to use a clunky email system that turns red with every keystroke. Costs my family $300/yr to have Karen cced in every email? App is slow, clunky, glitchy, expensive and redundant. Nobody should be forced to buy this when they can use email instead. Does not help build an amicable future to be forced into unwanted expenses. A newly single parent needs to reduce subscription services, not increase them. 👎👎

POORLY
I downloaded this app because it was recommended from court but we decided we didn’t need it after all. I canceled my subscription AND tried to delete it but it won’t let me delete it until I pay $149 when I didn’t even use it. I requested it to be deleted twice and nothing. Now, my App Store won’t let me download any new apps due failed payment to them. I keep contacting them but no response even though they say they reply in less the 24 hours.

Terrible messaging
How in the world does this app have this many starts ? It is cumbersome and flawed - it is not obvious in any way when a new message has been sent to you -ie there isn’t an indicator on the icon like so many other apps like WhatsApp and iPhone messaging- and on top of it - when you do go to the “unread messages folder” none of the new unread messages appear - if you’re gonna charge this

OurFamilyWizard App
Has helped me communicate with my Ex Wife for over 8 years now. It is worth the extra money and effort. It was recommended by my divorce attorney who knew what I was dealing with. Communication can’t be altered deleted or erased. It keeps both sides honest and can be court monitored. A must for some families who need to be informed and accountable.

This is a horrible app for keeping messages in order. Every sent or received message gets separated randomly. There’s no explanation. And when I asked the support team nothing. The usually bs

New Layout
The new layout is terrible!
Dictating
This app is terrible. Can’t even be blunt without the chat AI flagging it as negative. How are we supposed to communicate and tell each other what’s going on.
Misleading
The app is super simple and not all that spectacular. You can probably recreate the same information in a google drive folder. It is unclear that the $200+ fee must be paid by BOTH coparents. And when you invite your coparent, it asks them to pay again. For $200+ dollars PER YEAR, we expected more.
Missing simple things
Unfortunately, simple conveniences, like dark mode, Mac app support for the iPad app, and bug-free messaging just aren’t there yet (messages show up late or require manual refreshes). Additionally, there’s no ability to invite people like parents or caregivers for calendar access to help support a child. The left side bar on each tab is clunky and not the best user experience. On the Messages tab, the default is inbox, but the best of view is all messages which cannot be set as the default. Finally, there is no support for passkeys and login credentials rely on outdated usernames and passwords.

Good for what is needed
It’s effective for its purpose. It simplifies organizing everything. I’d change it to allow connecting the personal calendar as well as just using the calendar feature in general, without sharing it with the other parent if you choose not to share that feature. Also, to make it easier to view expense reports in various ways with different criteria.

App still buggy, bad back end support and no dark mode
The app after 10 years doesn’t have dark mode, if you want to pay your ex using OFWpay then forget it since the setup process sucks and the back end support for the app is quite bad slow and missing detail. It’s more hype, lobbying in courts to mandate this app and hence complacent staff is stiff sitting there on their bums.

Unsend or Edit
The app should have the option to be able to either unsend an email or edit one after it’s send.
Features not perfect
This app was recommended and have been using it awhile and it’s fine but it’s not as intuitive as it could be. For example a way to see requested schedule updates that need review/approval, or newly added events, without scrolling through calendars and trying to find where the update was made would be nice.

It’s fine
It works but I can’t print off all messages in a conversation in consecutive order (it’s all reverse order, and if he responds twice to the same message then I have to pick which response I’m printing on that thread), so they are really difficult to read for court related
Avoid
Expensive, no option for a trial or payment monthly, only yearly for $200. The app is hard to use and confusing, the messages don’t have any notifications so you have to keep check the app. Messages are also confusing because they don’t follow conversation thread. The app doesn’t look like it’s from 2010, and doesn’t look like it’s been evolved in years. Feels like the makers are taking advantage of families going through a difficult separation, as I’m sure couples are instructed or recommended to use this app by the courts. I’d stick with WhatsApp.
