Overview of OFW and privacy concerns.

Here is a short list of what goes on behind the scenes that almost all users don’t see.

Dangerous and unsafe connections:

api.segment.io
Category: Trackers

mobile-collector.newrelic.com
Category: Trackers

firebaselogging-pa.googleapis.com
Category: Trackers

cdn-settings.segment.com
Category: Advertising

Common safe connections:

clients4.google.com
IP: REDACTED
mapsmobilesdks-pa.googleapis.com
IP: REDACTED
play.googleapis.com
IP: REDACTED
api.iterable.com
IP: REDACTED
app-analytics-services.com
IP: REDACTED
appupgrade.dev (should block this connection)
IP: REDACTED

This is a short list there is more.

OFW should highly consider caring more about the privacy and safety of the users especially if children are involved court ordered or not using this app. There’s zero excuses why any trackers should be in an app like this.

To the devs or who manages reviews on the App Store. Please do not respond (if you do) and give me a ai copy and pasted script to deceive or manipulate me or others who read this. Be genuine and human or simply do not respond if you’re restricted by OFW on what you can and can’t say. This is only to bring awareness to all users so they can take the necessary steps to protect themselves and their children.

Other than that issue the only problem I see is the app can not properly work with RTL English or Arabic. Calendar function just freaks out. if I am making a message and I fill in the subject but I wanna go back and edit it, the cursor goes all the way to the end of the subject every single character I type. That is ridiculous and needs to be fixed.

I hope to see great change for everyone’s privacy. That is the most important especially when children are involved.

Great app but expensive

100% for functionality. Helps a lot with communication, it is user friendly and very easy to stay organized in. BUT it’s expensive and often co-parents do not have the financial situation which makes choosing this tough. There are other options that have less features but do what is essentially required for less. My recommendation is that this should be a 1 time fee, not an annual subscription.

Calls haven’t worked in months

Was working fine for approx 9 months then calls won’t go through. I’ve reached out a number of times to support and each reply is “restart the app - or delete and reinstall” all of which have not worked. Not worth the price for a disfunctional app

Takes some getting used to but effective

This program has helped our family overall. One has to handle some of the baccarat complications so it can effectively be used in court if necessary, but overall it is worth the initial pain to learn the system.

Outdated and complex

This app costs the most out of all other co-parenting apps. How they are behind the times. Instead of uploading your insurance card, you have to write all the information out. Everyone only wants an image of your insurance card anyways…. This is a continuous theme throughout. It’s not very user friendly at all. An analogy would be: instead of taking a test with mostly multiple choice, you’d have to write every answer out…

Okay app

Way to overpriced. It’s really taking advantage of people who are vulnerable

Unhappy user

Borderline fraud. No refund after auto renewal or gesture of good will have to pay 12 months for a service I won’t use. Pretty shocking compared to most modern digital businesses. Also the chat mechanics are very cumbersome and make it difficult to trace back through conversations

App

Great app to bridge communication between parents.

I need better transcript from voice call

A lot of time the transcript I requested from voice call does not translate as it supposed to. A lot of time doesn’t understand the slang or when we speak too fast I feel it should be able to since we are in Ai era.

Storage space limited

The storage space is limited, payments thru app expensive

A great tool for co-parenting

I’ve incorporated OurFamilyWizard into our parenting plan for almost 2–3 years now, and I genuinely appreciate how much it helps keep co-parenting organized and documented. Everything can be kept in one place, including conversations, doctor appointments, scheduling, expenses, and shared financial responsibilities, which makes it much easier to reference previous information when needed.

I also really like the ToneMeter feature, which helps identify wording that may come across negatively before a message is sent. In situations where communication can sometimes be difficult, having that extra tool can help keep conversations more productive and focused.

Overall, I think OurFamilyWizard is especially helpful for parents who benefit from clear documentation, accountability, and having one centralized place to manage the many moving parts of co-parenting. I would definitely recommend it.

Terrible messaging

How in the world does this app have this many stars? It is cumbersome and flawed - it is not obvious in any way when a new message has been sent to you -ie there isn’t an indicator on the icon like so many other apps like WhatsApp and iPhone messaging- and on top of it - when you do go to the “unread messages folder” none of the new unread messages appear - If you’re gonna charge this much then fix these bugs. New expense categories can’t be selected if there are more than 6 categories to begin because the list cant be scrolled. Every time I use the app I find a glitch or bug. Too much $ for an app like this at least make it functional! This is awful

Problems with app

Messaging is difficult to navigate, and overly complicated. The search function is poor as well.

Also, very difficult to see whether you have received a message without refreshing closing the app. Its very easy to miss messages if you don’t check your phone all the time.

Its over priced for what it is.

Why charge so much

Buggy

The app is OK, but it freezes a lot and it’s bugging and I have to keep restarting the app I spent a lot of money for the highest tier, and it is not working as expected.
