Not Happy
The app decided to update halfway through the day today (on its own, I don’t have automatic update set for it) and now the app won’t open! I have turned my device on and off countless times and still the same thing! I use this for appointments in my salon and now I can’t book appointments or see what clients are coming for!

Wish everything was accessible by app
This app is great, but it would be a lot more useful if all the pro features actually worked on the app. Having to switch to the browser version while still on my phone and then having that version not work well on mobile means that the pro version is at best super inconvenient and at worst pretty useless if you have an iPhone or iPad to run your business with. I’m not an app developer so I have no idea what the reasoning is for this, maybe it is hard to fix? But it really takes a lot away from what would be an otherwise perfect app.

Unhappy
I am already frustrated with this app because I can’t even log in. I’m using the credentials straight from the email I’ve been given and it won’t work, yet I am able to log in through the computer without any problems. Why do I have to log in with a set of random numbers instead of my email like I can through my laptop? Of course there is no way to contact help so I’m not able to do anything with appointments until I can get to a desktop/laptop.

Imagine busy salon... there is no time to pick up phone to cancel, reschedule or book new person take all details, payment, sent email confirmation, work on your current customer giving 5* device and ..... stay sane 🤣

This app has everything you need to run a business. It is the complete package. I am still shocked at how good this app is. I am recommending this app to everyone who runs a business.
Been using for 3+ years!
Great app, easy to use. Love the variety of colour options. The new update has issues though. Nothing is synced, it crashes and my roster is completely empty. Help!!!

The best booking app out there. Independent Hairdressers - this is the app for you. Book your appointments, keep count of your inventory, keep track of client information and formulas, online booking, text and email appointment confirmations, you can book through your Facebook page, and you can process payments (using PayPal here). It’s perfect. And what makes it even better is the customer service. There is always a quick response. I’ve used this app since 2013, and it keeps getting better.

Excellent and excellent value.
It takes a little programming at first then basically does everything for me. Even my accounting reports and mass emails. Well worth the monthly cost. My clients LOVE their reminders and interactive confirmation emails.

Get This App, Best Salon App
When I lost data on my iPhone due to an update, I took Apple's advice and installed a bunch of third party apps to decide which would work best for me. Ovatu is, by far, the best app for my small business. The customer service is the best I have encountered.Even though Dave is in Australia and I am in the US, he is amazingly fast in replying to me queries. Get this app!! You will NOT be disappointed!!

I have been using OVATU for a year now and it has been great. It's a fab app; works well for both clients and employees/employers.
I am a busy beauty therapist and with the use of OVATU - my clients can click a link on my business like page via facebook, see availability and book their own appointments in minutes and I get sent an email notification.
I use OVATU to keep track of my takings each month and my accountant even loves the software.
There isn't a single thing that can be said to fault this system and APP.

Taking bookings in my salon is so much easier now. Love that customers get a sms reminder of their appointments. Great program, easy to use.
Best App Around
I started using ovatu 18 months ago for 2 therapists. I liked the app a lot because it easy to use and priced right. Since then I have grown to ten therapists and the app has improved considerably.
However, I am opening up new locations and offering more complex services so I had to go look around at the more established players.
Mind body is the 200 pound gorilla and at $165 a month it had to be exceptional.
It's terrible. I felt like I was going from a sleek simple and terrific app to a 1990s web app. It's too complicated, requires lots of training to use, and is time consuming to manage.
It sucked so badly I am cancelling mind body and sticking with Ovatu.
I hope it counties to grow and improve Abdul the staff is amazing and has the best decision team feedback I have ever experienced.

Perfect for Tattoo Appointments
Love the app and desktop site. Works perfect for me as a tattooer. They finally have the bugs worked out with this version. Really like the fact that you can flag "No Shows" now.
