This App no longer works with Apple’s current update.

Every update makes this app more difficult to use. The only option is the web browser. They try making every option, info, and button available on this app. Just not working out. Gen one of OvrC was simple and clean.

Won’t open anymore
White screen right after login page. Same on android and iOS. Easily can log in from web browser.

Worst app for installers I ever used
Everyone at our company hates this app, it doesn’t give you the real access and config to the equipment you need, it’s over simplified and clunky usually not giving the correct config options it really should have. half of the time stuff doesn’t even work correctly when using it. Terrible app…
Unusable
I’m getting a white screen even after deleting the app and re-installing. I use this app all the time as we have over 250+ clients and this is really disappointing. This app has been the worst since they re-did the layout.
White screen
After logging in all I get is a white screen. Tried deleting app and reinstalling no luck
App doesn’t work at all.
The app loads and I sign in. Then I see it load to a white screen. Everytime! I have reloaded app, and reinstalled multiple times. This has been months.
Face login??
This is generally good. However one feature which is lacking is faceID login. I don’t want to have to login every time. It won’t even pre-fill my email. If I tap on Password on the login page, I would at least expect to see a list of OVrC email. Instead I have to then search for my email and then select it. It doesn’t remember this for long.
This is the only app I know which is like this.
Also, I would like switches to auto discover devices connected to ports. Domotz does this very well and is why I still use it despite having to pay.

Pretty much awful
It’s been 8 months and I haven’t even been able to login. My contractor has sent me 3 different emails. On the last one I was able to enter the code and create a password, but now it won’t recognize the password and I can’t even read the error message because the app puts it at the top of the screen behind the IPhone camera. It’s like they don’t even do basic quality control on their app.

No longer works
The app has completely stopped working for me. I just get a white screen and nothing else. This started happening since a couple of updates ago.
Just a blank page
Login and the page is just blank. I don’t need cloud services for my home devices and hate being forced to
The app is too clunky
OVRC is great but this app is way too clunky for normal use. It’s kind of ok on an iPad with a larger screen but it’s not optimized for mobile at all. It’s just the website in a skin basically.
My two most common gripes are that it doesn’t save the Solomon layout you choose. I look for MAC addresses a lot but I need to add that column every single time I open devices. Also why are there nested scrolling sections? That works ok on a big screen but is just awful to use on mobile.
Oh, and echoing another user, just take me to the devices page when I go to a client. Streamline the app. It takes way too many clicks to do things.

Dumbed down
New update can’t see any details without pro device. Is it a Tx or rx? Any unclaimed new device I can’t tell. Roll it back to 2023 so it useful again
Snap One refuse to support customers
As others have stated, a great product in theory however plagued with bugs when app is updated only frustrated by a ‘so called’ technical support team that will only respond to dealers. Many customers are more than capable at trouble-shooting issues with some basic technical support. The nature of a product such as this is that once a dealer has installed your system, you are unlikely to have an ongoing contract with them, so if you’re unlucky enough to need support from Snap One then you’ll be having to pay them to lodge a support request you could have lodged yourself. Strangely none of this is mentioned in their marketing materials. Could be potentially a useful product but bugs and inadequate support model makes it a poor investment. Sad to say I have wasted my money and cannot recommend this company.

What’s not to like?
The mobile app is even worse than browser app
Control 4, SnapAV & OvrC are god awful. Nothing works ever! They promise features for years & never deliver. Latest Firmware updates had to be rolled back. DO BETTER!!!
