Used to be good. Now requires subscription
After new update this app requires subscription for basic functions like showing history (of even the most recent completed trip). Used to show calories burned, now it only shows time and distance, all other stats are gone. Not very useful any longer.
Terrible App
Has potential, but the paid version full of paid ads. And Heart rate not comparable. Missed opportunity by the developers who obviously are only poking for people to buy… with zero improvements or attention to detail!

Paddle Paddle works so well
I paddle multiple times a week and love to use this app to record my routes, time myself and even transfer route data to Relive if I am taking photos. Only issue I have is the interface with my Apple Watch - it uses a lot of battery and I cannot start, pause or turn off the Paddle Paddle recording on it (can only do on the phone app).

Can’t log paddling session from Apple Watch
So I downloaded this app specifically so I could log my paddling sessions by pressing a button on my watch—as I do on every other fitness tracker I use. I have NEVER been able to do so. My phone is usually in a waterproof dry bag and not easily accessible when I’m kayaking. My Apple Watch Ultra Paddle Paddle app shows access to two screens: one with time and km (I specified I want miles in iPhone settings). The next screen shows —speed km/hr, —average km/hr and —❤️ rate with no data being collected in any of these categories. So I have to scroll away to collect data in my Apple workouts app. This is useless! I guess I would have to upgrade to pro to get any useful data. But I question whether even that would let me start on my watch.

Но когда совершил заплыв, хотел посмотреть историю, и тут на тебе, или посмотреть рекламу(которую я никак не могу посмотреть) или купить подписку.🤷🏼♂️

I just want to say I LOVE this ap! It is really helpful to keep track of my Paddleboarding! It also has a place I can put notes on what I did!!

Все круто, но когда заходишь в историю и выбираешь день ,приложение отображает маршрут , статистику и зависает на этом , приходится перезапускать и эта ошибка повторяется все время !!
Intracoastal waterway
This app is an absolute necessity when kayaking the Atlantic Coast intracoastal waterway. You must be aware of the tide (time & height) and wind speed to avoid being caught in a bad situation. This app helps me navigate through the marsh grasses and find the creeks. I love it!

Paddle Paddle
I like this app a lot. I just wished it worked with my Apple Watch, that way I would only need to use one app, and not two.
It won’t show history unless you upgrade
I downloaded this to track my paddles on my kayak but much to my dismay, it would not let me see my paddle/history after I ended my trip. Very disappointing! It wanted me to upgrade to Pro to see any history. It won’t even show one!! I deleted this & went with a different app I hope doesn’t have the same issue today. They might as well make this a pro/paid version period instead of wasting people’s time .

You still can use app with almost full set of features as with paid subscription, but with advertisements. History is available for free version but you will need to tap ads from time to time - to provide an income for development team, so they can support the app. If you see history, but your kayak trip was not recoded - please check that you enable Location Services for Paddle Paddle under Settings app > Privacy > Location Services.

Thank you for the constructive criticism! We added the scale that explains the colors - e.g .how they related to the speed at particular point on a route.
Simplicity
I love it. The developers are great and listen to their users. The trim option is a game changer.
