Frustrating and money grab
The app (just like the employees) experience technical issues that I thought was just a fluke until I realized that too many others could relate. Parking in downtown dirty Albany should not be a chore for employees or visitors- but apparently, it’s intentional. You could pay at the meter with coins, if no receipt TAKE A PICTURE! You will likely get a ticket. App issues after trying to pay for parking, take screen grabs as proof. You will likely get a ticket. Eventually, I realized that calling to speak directly with the office is solely to misinform customers. They will lie to you and not even try to be friendly. Bottom line, Albany Parking will steal from you and as much as possible, every time - just like a faithful New Yorker.

Not reliable
The whole point of this app is to replace the need to feed the meter. It is not working, gives some error about the payment method even when I use multiple cards that I know work. How hard is it to code such an app? Just go with the meters.

Makes parking so easy
The park Albany app is very easy to use and makes parking so much simpler. I highly recommend it for anyone needing to park in downtown Albany even occasionally.
No longer works
App no longer works for me and many folks in my office. Just get a network error. Deleted, and reinstalled, same error. Been ongoing for over a month. Great app when it functions
Used to work well
The first few times we used the app we loved it, because it made it easy to pay for parking. But now the app keeps saying “Network Error. Please Try Again” … and hours later it’s still not working (it’s clearly the app’s “network” because I have a 300 Mbps connection on the cell phone and all other apps working fine).

Stopped working.
This app was great at one point but recently stop working. I even called parking authority to notify them of the situation and nothing was done!
I also tried deleting the app and reinstalling it a few times and it’s still giving me the network error sign

App never works right
There are constant issues with the app, once your time is up you have to wait 15 min to pay again. And overall you can receive a parking ticket even one minute before or after you paid, ridiculous.
Payment Glitch in Various City Park Applications
I normally don’t have an issue with this app but I had an issue this week, it took me 10-15 minutes to get it to accept my payment information. Now I’m out of the city for the weekend, visiting another city and their city app is providing the same issue, seems like a widespread issue with these apps.

It’s funny that the state is not mentioned anywhere. How do you know you’ve got the right city when there is more than one Albany is the world? Take the leap I guess. You’d think they would at least mention the place in the description. Just hope Albany, GA doesn’t come up with an app.

Easy to use and add time if you are running late. No need to keep running out to feed meter.
Lose a minute
Every time I start the app it starts a minute less then I paid for...14 instead of 15 minutes, 44 instead of 45 minutes, etc...not a big deal other than WHY?!?!?!?
