Worst Parking App Ever
If you have a credit card that’s expired and you used to have an account with this parking app. You are unable to start fresh on the app as it forces you to use old credit card information in order to access it making it absolutely useless.

I don’t know why municipalities use this app. It never works properly. There are so many better options available.

I sure hope this app was written by someone’s grandson at no cost to the operator as it is amateurish at best. No support for any modern wallet (Apple, Samsung, etc.). Antiquated (but functional) Authentication. Poor UX for manual CC entry. No support for camera for zone/space entry. If grandson/Claude authored the app, then “good job! Study hard and you’ll go far”. If real $$ was spent, then “fool me once”.

simple but WORKS
I've used so many different parking apps in different cities across north america and Europe. This is my by far favourite one. The app is ugly as sin (reminiscent of 2008-2010 iPhone apps), but it's by FAR the easiest and fastest to use. No bells or whistles, but I've never been stuck on a screen for more than . 5 stars, wish every parking app worked this well.

Ma première utilisation a été une catastrophe. Impossible d’obtenir une confirmation de paiement. Résultat? J’ai reçu une contravention de 125 $!!! Le service à la clientèle, bien que rapide à me répondre, ne m’a jamais aidé à m’en sortir.

On peut prendre la période gratuite avec une borne, puis si on dépasse le temps alloué, on a qu’à payer par l’application de n’importe où que l’on se trouve
Easy to use
The app is extremely easy to use and makes it simple to pay for parking. I don’t like that meters no longer take quarters but I do like that I no longer have to carry change to feed the thing.

GARBAGE APP!
When trying to sign up—I consistently get an error message saying my valid Canadian mobile number in Vancouver is NOT a valid number.
Some cities (like North Van and New Westminster) ONLY accept payment to this stupid company. Was finally able to complete parking by going to their website.

This app starts calculating the parking time when you reach the payment page not when you make payment. Lazy developers or a scam? Take your pick

Can’t add my credit card
It just keeps looping saying “processing” but never processes
Can’t sign up
App doesn’t allow me to sign up using my cell phone number. It’s forcing me to use my facebook account! I’m not giving it access to my facebook account because I should be free to choose what access to give. Why it’s not accepting my phone number??
The worst
Not only is it a nightmare to set up an account on their site, but once you finally have, the app won’t let you log in with that account because the number is incorrect. 1 star is too much.
You will lose money with this app
I’ve been using the CHUS hospital parking for several days. During the first three days, I paid directly at the hospital’s parking machines. It was simple — if I paid for 24 hours and wanted to extend before it expired, I could just add another 24 hours, and my parking would be valid until the same time the next day (for example, from 10 p.m. to 10 p.m. the next day).
But with the Passport Canada app, that’s not how it works. If you try to add more time before your current session ends, your existing parking is canceled and a new one starts from the moment you pay. For example, if your parking was valid until 10 p.m. and you pay at noon, your new session only goes until noon the next day — meaning you lose several hours you already paid for.
And if you then try to switch back to paying at the hospital machines, the same issue happens again. In the end, you lose money for nothing.
Honestly, this setup feels misleading and unfair. I do not recommend this app.
