Verify again and again and again…
What is actually wrong with this app?! I am consistently sent a verification code EVERYTIME I have to get on it even though the remember me box is being checked. And now I can’t even get into the website as well. When I try, I’m told a code has been sent to my phone (the same one I get codes on for the app) and they don’t come through! You guys are a hot dumpster fire of a mess lately. DO BETTER

Every single update this app gets, I have to verify through email or phone every time I log in. This is very frustrating and annoying.
This APP is absolute garbage
This app never remembers my devise and constantly requires sending a text confirmation on the devise I’m accessing it on….it makes zero sense. Often times you have to open and close the app over and over again because it’ll just sit there and spin. Worst app on my phone hands down. Wish my company didn’t force us to use this trash.

Horrible App
Wish I could give zero stars. The app seems to be awfully buggy. It will work fine for a week or so and then just won’t load or takes forever to load/open. So I will delete and redownload the app and then it will work again. Been doing this for a few months now and nothing seems to change, I have automatic updates turned on so I am not sure if this is the issue or what but the app is extremely frustrating when it doesn’t load allowing me to clock in and then I have to waste more of my and my employers time and money every time I have to wait and then every time I have to then go back in the app later on to adjust my time and attendance. Do not recommend.
Update, still a junk app that has to be redownloaded constantly. Having to enter text verification codes every time you open the app within minutes of using it. If only my employer would find a better option.

Consistently horrible 4-years+
Unequivocally the worst app I have ever been forced to use. If not required, it would be promptly deleted; however my place of work offers no other alternative and so we get a masterclass in bad UI. Forced into slow load times, buggy interface, constant two-factor authentication setups, login errors, long load times, unregistered punches, and unstable releases. No viable alternative.

Forever to deposit checks
Now it’s consistently taking until nearly 6PM to deposit checks even if my check stub is ready at noon. What is going on.

No Face ID
Took them 2 weeks to fix app. I tried to tell the chat team about it. They kept saying it was my employers issue. They would not take ownership of the issue.

The year pulldown on the check stub screen is bugged. It won’t select the year you click on and second try pops a different selection window up with different graphics. You seriously need to test your app before you push updates!
Paycheck stub availability push notification is delayed by several days. This has never worked right!
Your paycheck stub available push notifications are SO DELAYED!!! This morning received June and July’s and it’s AUGUST!!!!
The website is just too slow due to the new scripting measures you implemented and it needs to be optimized. Used to be able to login and clock-in in less than 15 seconds, now it’s WAY more than that, no matter how fast the user is. Ridiculous! Fix it! Also, on the Time & Attendance tab, when you have more than one shift in the same day (after lunch portion of the day and clocking out for the day), it takes the shift total and adds it to the today’s total and obviously that’s not right. This has been an issue for more than 2 years now! Clearly someone made a coding mistake! I know it’s an error because if you go to another tab and then back to T&A, the today’s total is correct then. Whomever has been working on the website to implement new things is braking basic functionality due to lack of experience. You need better coders. Today’s total is always increasing, it doesn’t need to add the shift total into it when you clock out, it was already inclusive of it! STOP constantly asking to reverify devices every couple of weeks!!! Both via app and on your website (which now absolutely drags trying to bring up the login page). It’s not necessary for you to expire the verification cookie ALL THE TIME!!!!

This place sucks again
I absolutely hate this app company and everything they do there service sucks as an employee it’s the worst place to receive pay check get pay stubs or do anything I hate this company and every co worker I have hates this place honestly hope you don’t use them I’m warning you

The Paychex flex app is awesome. However I’m bi weekly payroll so in between PayActiv helps me connect the dots but leaves me in the bind when it isn’t available

Unable to access my account
I don’t have my OLD PHONE NUMBER, I went through 5 chat reps passed all the security questions eEverything. Then says. I’m sending you a link to reset your phone number but your have to use your OLD NUMBER to change it!!! What!!! Are you serious!!?? Who runs this app?? Company!!with all verification and everything is tied to a old number!! Seriously!! How can I use an old phone number if I don’t have it??? That’s the whole point I can’t login.. I answered all my questions and still got hung up on.. worst payroll app.. I’m beyond annoyed 😑 all because of an old phone number and old employer! Shouldn’t be this difficult to use a payroll app.

Least Functional App Ever
It still has me get a verification code everytime I log in, Which is a big inconvenience considering about half the time it’s already taking 15 plus minutes to load. The PTO doesn’t even work. It will show manager approved and then I won’t get paid for it. Worst part of my day is having to clock in and out through this app.
