Since the upgrade to ios11 I cannot connect to my lights. They are useless ... can you please fix ?

Nice idea, poorly implemented
First, if you can get the app to connect you're lucky. It took us days before a device finally took. Second you have to take your phone off the home wifi and connect it manually to the pool lights wifi. This should be a lot simpler. Honestly just make the thing so it connects to the home wifi and setup a passcode to configure. All this power off and one trying to hit a button at the right time is so frustrating. You're better off using the remote than this stupid app.

Super sweet app. I got the PAL lights in my recently completed pool, and this app is the cherry on top of the icing. Since I always have my phone with me, it's so easy to operate the lights, much to the dazzling of our party guests!
Great concept but....
I had 5 of these lights installed on our new pool 3 days ago and still haven't got the app to work. I'm guessing this is a very new product and hopefully whatever is wrong will be updated ASAP since its pool season. The remote that comes with the lights is basically useless unless we want to get out of the pool and walk to the side of the house and point it at the box where our equipment pad is. The app will be the best for us to use on the wireless network once we get it working. I've talked with the people at Pal and they sent me and step by step instruction for connection with an iPhone and it still doesn't work. I will update once I get it figured out.
