Mr C

Best PD app yet, very clever.

Wrong measurement!

I remember at shop they measured 62 for my pd and the app is showing 56? lol pd don’t change over a year so user beware. Download more apps to get a consistent trend.

Excellent App

I love the actual preciseness of the app.

Most Accurate by testing

This app gave me the most accurate results by far, all the other apps rely on lidar depth sensors and some AI guesstimates to give you a generic result which is way off, but this one lets you face in a green zone to accurately determine the PD. I still say the credit card and photoshop method works the best if you want accuracy.

Measurements way off

My PD is 67 and this gave me 56 after measuring 3 times. It also recommended extra small frame when I always need extra large frames

FAQ

What does this app do?

This app measures your pupillary distance (PD) and fitting heights for eyeglass frames using your device's camera. It also includes several useful optical calculators for lens adjustments and visual acuity estimations.

How accurate are the PD measurements?

Measurement accuracy is guaranteed to be the highest achievable by the capability of your device's camera system. Both far and near PDs, binocular and monocular, are available at no cost.

What is fitting height and how is it measured?

Fitting height is measured for the frames you currently have on. Accurate fitting height measurements are needed to ensure lenses are properly centered for optimal viewing clarity and to position segments for multifocal lenses. This feature is supported on devices with TrueDepth or LIDAR camera systems.

What optical calculators are included?

The app includes calculators for Rx Transposition, Vertex Adjustment, Crossed Cylinders (over-refraction), Keratometry Conversion, Visual Acuity Scale, Estimated visual acuity, Minimum Blank Size (MBS), and Magnifications.

Is this app free to use?

The core features, including pupillary distance measurements and several optical calculators, are available at no cost. However, some advanced features or functionalities may be available through in-app purchases.
