Inaccurate Measurements

Each time I try to measure my PD I get a different result. Don’t waste your time or money

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. Small variations between runs are normal, but larger ones usually come from conditions: use good, even lighting, hold the phone straight at eye level about 30 cm away, and look directly at the camera with both eyes. Taking two or three measurements and averaging them gives much more consistent results.

SCAM

They try to trick you into signing up for a recurring subscription. PD can be measured but you need a subscription to see the results.

No wonder they asked to rate the app during the intro screen, even before you can actually use the app!

Response from developer

Thanks for sharing your concern. The subscription is presented with a free trial before any charge — nothing is billed without your explicit confirmation through Apple. The face-tracking measurement engine is what the subscription supports. If you were charged unintentionally, payments are handled by Apple and you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Needs subscription for anything

Other apps will actually give you results and only ask for subscriptions if you want to go more in-depth or do anything with them. You can get to the screen that offers a premium subscription and that’s it. It won’t even measure it for you before that.

Response from developer

Thanks for the honest feedback. The measurement engine is the core technology of the app, which is why it sits behind the subscription — the free trial lets you test the full flow before paying anything, and the yearly plan brings the cost down significantly.

Annoyed with Apple and the App

All I want to do is unsubscribe ! It's not an option anywhere!

So frustrating! Do not charge me a penny!

Use Another App

Truly - completes a task via a monthly subscription that 5+ other apps on the AppStore do for free. I could understand placing ads between measurements… but I can’t imagine a recurring charge for such a simple app.
