Does this work with iPhone 17 Pro Max?

Unable to get a ‘lock-on’ from this app when on the ‘place your head in the oval’ screen. Tried various artificial and natural daylight setups and phone mount solutions but no joy. Other apps in the AppStore work just fine and return PD results so don’t think it’s eye colour or iPhone distance/movement configuration issue.

Waste 15 mins just trying to align my eyes

I’m wearing prescription glasses and I can’t see clearly without my glasses. The apps require impossible perfect alignment to measure the pd value, but I am not able to do that without my glasses. Very frustrated. I will just use a mirror and ruler I guess.
