Waste of an app. Prevents most actions.
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. Georgia is a hands-free state, and the app cannot determine whether the driver or a passenger is using it. As a safety precaution, Peach Pass Verify can only be used while the vehicle is not in motion. We recommend starting your carpool verification as soon as you enter your vehicle and buckle your seatbelt.
Rigged Ratings
Response from developer
Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we do not control how the overall rating is averaged or presented, we do review user feedback closely and continue to make improvements based on the issues reported. If you have any additional feedback about Peach Pass Verify, please email us at socialmediaaccounts@srta.ga.gov.
No option to end trip
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. Please email us at socialmediaaccounts@srta.ga.gov so we can take a further look into your situation.
So flawed
I’ve read the responses about Georgia being a hand free state but not every person in the car has to be hands free! Not being able to verify who is pressing the button is a lame excuse for not allowing us to indicate that the person pressing is not the driver.
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. In addition to Georgia being a Hands-Free state, Peach Pass Verify cannot determine who is making changes while the car is moving, the vehicle needs to be stopped before beginning the carpool.
Annoying
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. We understand that it can be frustrating to wait until the vehicle is stationary before starting the verification process, but this rule exists to ensure safety. Since the system cannot identify who is making changes while the car is moving, the vehicle needs to be stopped before beginning the carpool.
Just terrible
Money Grab
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. The app cannot determine who is initiating the verification process. For safety reasons, commuters can only begin the verification process when the car is not in motion.
Stop deleting my review
Interaction
Poor design
Horrible app
Stupid design
New app is horrible
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. Commuters are prompted to verify their occupancy status at the beginning and end of their trips to help ensure a reliable, fair commute. In addition, requiring this verification while the vehicle is not in motion is also a safety precaution. Safety is a top priority with Peach Pass Verify.
Useless
Response from developer
Thank you for the feedback. We understand your point of view. Peach Pass Verify cannot determine who is verifying the occupancy status, so, as a safety precaution, this process can only occur while the vehicle is not in motion.
Awful app
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. Please ensure you are not on the I-85 before tapping 'Start Carpool.' You can toggle voice prompts OFF under 'Settings' in the app.
Awful app
Challenging to use
Good lord this app is stupid
I get that you don’t want the legal liability if someone uses this app while driving, but for forks sake, just add a “I’m not the driver” checkbox like a normal app. This is peak “compliance over common sense” behavior.
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. Providing a "I'm not the driver" check box does not verify that the person selecting that option is, in fact, not the driver. That option will result in an additional safety issue that we do not want our commuters to worry about while in the express lanes.
Way too easy to mess it up as a user
I have an issue with the button to confirm at the end of a trip. If you accidentally press that you did not have 3+ people, you pay for the trip. This should require multiple confirmation presses, and the button to cancel HOV credit should be smaller and further from the button that gives you the credit (the orange one).
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. The developers have designed the app to use minimal power consumption while in a trip. For saving power, we recommend closing other apps in the background.
Like everyone says this is a pain
Plans change and when I choose to use the lane I don’t always know in advance.
Also is privacy not a concern? Why do you need to know my precise location where I start and end. You can track my car in the express lane, why is that not enough.
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. The Peach Pass Verify app cannot determine who is beginning or ending the verification process out of an abundance of caution; those actions can only be completed while the vehicle is not in motion. Additionally, the app requires your precise location to ensure that commuters are using the I-85 Express Lanes and receive free toll benefits.
