Horrible.
I had multiple bookings through Peerspace over a 4–5 month period. Most of the bookings themselves went fine, but my overall experience with the platform ultimately led us to deactivate our account.
Hosts are expected to respond to inquiries very quickly, typically within about an hour, and the platform can penalize your listing if you do not respond fast enough. This became especially frustrating when one person became extremely angry after I told them we would not be moving forward with their booking. They proceeded to repeatedly insult and berate me, including throughout my birthday.
There was no option to block the person, and I was hesitant to completely silence notifications because I did not want to miss a legitimate inquiry and risk being penalized. Eventually, because the messages would not stop, I silenced my notifications. Shortly afterward, one of my listings was paused.
I reported the situation to Peerspace, but no meaningful action was taken. After that experience, I no longer felt comfortable or supported enough to continue using the platform.
On top of that, Peerspace takes a significant portion of each booking in fees. There are better platforms available that, in my experience, offer more consideration for both hosts and members.
We ultimately canceled our remaining bookings and deactivated our account. I would not use Peerspace again and cannot recommend it.

Can’t log in
The app just randomly logged me out and once I enter my login information, nothing happens
Host customer service is horrible!
I submitted a ticket over two weeks ago (and counting) and have yet to have the issue fixed. A simple ticket to remove one of my two accounts resulted in both of my accounts being removed and I’ve been having the hardest time getting help on restoring my account. It seems like only one person manages host tickets. For a company that takes over 20% of host earnings, I would think issues would be fixed expeditiously.

Peerspace has been one of the most useful things that I have ever used as an independent artist. I don’t know where I would be without this app. This is behind almost every production/music video/video shoot and photo shoot that I have ever done in my career. Thank you.
Nearly Three Weeks, Six Support Reps, and I Finally Gave Up
An unbelievably frustrating experience. After nearly three weeks and dealing with at least six different support people, Peerspace still could not manage to get my account and property properly set up.
I repeatedly followed their instructions, yet kept getting passed from one person to another, often receiving generic responses that seemed to ignore everything that had already been discussed.
Eventually, I just threw in the towel. If it takes nearly three weeks and six support people just to become a host, I can only imagine what dealing with an actual booking or payment problem would be like.
I set up with a competitor without these issues. Peerspace made it far too difficult to simply become their customer, and I finally asked them to delete my account and personal information.
A complete waste of my time.

Clumsy app
This app does not allow you to easily message the host to as questions. Who would book a venue sight-unseen without asking questions. It also has some glitches with scrolling.

We’ve consistently found the perfect space for our productions through Peerspace. Every location we’ve booked has been exactly as described, making the process easy and reliable. Highly recommend!

Needs to be streamlined
The way they designed the app is so complicated. For example: in order to read the reviews, you cannot view them on the app from the profile of the guest. You have to click on a link and it opens a new window browser for you to read.
Why can’t guest’s reviews be read inside the app just like Airbnb? Why do I have to read them in a browser?!

Ridiculous app
For a host, this is a ridiculous app. Does not work half the time. Wish could give a 0
Website could be easier to manage for hosts
Overall I’m happy with it but managing listings is a bit clunky, especially the calendar. I would also like to be able to add a liability waiver that guests have to agree to when booking.

I’ve been listed on Peerspace for a couple of months as a venue host and it’s working out great! I’ve hosted some great events and have more on the calendar! I would recommend to any venue owner!
Terrible experience
I made a booking, the space was not as advertised, broken glass, very dirty, AC not working (and it was a hot day!). My concern and review was ignored, and instead o was charged extra for not placing the pillows in exact the same way. Also, there were hidden cameras which I was not aware of while doing a private photoshoot.
The customer service completely ignored my complaint instead stood with the host who ignored my safety and privacy.
