1 star review. Have no idea how well it works since it will not open on my iPhone 13 Pro.
Terrible app
Clunky, very slow to respond, and often quits without warning. You have to dig down through several layers to get to your equipment controls. Frequently demands I login with username and password and then won’t let me in. Hasn’t been updated in over two years. Pentair is failing its customers with this lousy app.

Awful app
This app is so unreliable. I really hope the new one is better.
Horribly Slow
I could walk out to my pool and turn everything on and off 50 times faster than this app even pulls up my equipment. It’s a simple on/off seems like it should be faster
Don’t use this app, use Pentair Home
Did you just install a new IntelliConnect system and followed the instructions to download this app? Well this is no longer supported. Download the Pentair Home app as this is the replacement app. It works great.
Horrible! Please come up with something better
It’s sad to have spend so much money on expensive pool equipment and have such a horrible, clunky, none functional app. It’s hard to navigate. It’s hard to log in. It crashes frequently. This app has no user friendliness. Please update!
Horrendous app!
I would give this app 0 stars if I could. The app is slow, clunky, freezes, and constantly kicks me out. When trying to sign in, the app never recognizes my user name or password. I eventually get back in by turning off and on my phone. I am very thankful I didn’t pay extra for additional automation that would have allowed me to open and close valves from my phone. That would have been a waste of money.

Do not buy
This system does not work. I keep getting logged off and it won’t let me log back in. When I do log in it takes about 3 minutes to load and nothing is aligned with the system. It’s super flawed and a major issue especially for someone like me who’s a new pool owner. Major issues
I hate this product.
I gave up months ago. This damned thing just runs whenever. I can’t get it to connect or stay connected to WiFi, so it will just do its thing and screw me out of electricity $$$ until I move or take a sledgehammer to it. Thanks for nothing Pentair

Not worth the time investment
How could it be this bad!?
Had I known this app we’re gonna be so bad I probably would’ve never bought my pool controller. I feel like they’re doing it by design to try and get you to spend more money on higher end gear. I was looking forward to buying into the whole Intelliconnect ecosystem but the basic function is difficult at best.
My opinion is they need to either redo the app or scrap the whole project. I work and home automation for a living, and this looks like it was created by a high school kid. I would also advise some Google integration. There’s so much potential with this item but it was a very poor execution.

App logs me off on its own and I can’t log on with my email and password. I have to try several times

App needs a total overhaul! App looks and responds like it was created by a 5 year old. Clunky, slow and doesn’t work well what so ever. Only thing it has going for it, is the fact that you can somewhat see what your pool is doing. However, you can only see that when it decides it’s going to function that day.

Behind the Times
This app seems to make no direct connection at the local level. It is a web page connecting to some external entity. Due to this it is slow, laggy, and seems to have been designed in the 90s.
Understand that this is not Pentair’s forte or main line of business but this is the way the world is going. This happens to companies over and over again. One day the shareholders will wake up and there will be an Amazon Alexa or Siri connected thing that will be smarter and work better with less worries for users. Very few people right now are choosing to install traditional irrigation controls... why? Companies like racchio.
Hayward is doing a better job at this right now.

Very, very bad app
Timer is good. But to use all the features you need an app. App is very, very bad. Crashes more then works, had to delete it multiple times due to errors. Will be looking for new timer.
App created by elementary school kid?
Ok, so my guess is that the Pentair manager responsible for developing this app paid his 10 year old $15 to develop this app on the down low. It’s bad. Besides having zero features, it hangs every time and so you have to close and relaunch it every time you want to do anything with it after pushing any selection. “Please stand by...” is what the app consistently tells you. Wow, it’s bad.

Awful FAIL
This is absolutely the most awful app I’ve ever used in my entire life. I can’t believe it anybody would put their name behind such a non-native application. Whoever designed it should be fired and never create an app again.
So Disappointed!!
So un-user friendly! I was sold a bill of goods! Don’t buy this product over promises and under delivers! App gets stuck, blank screen and error messages. I’ve had to manually turn on and off the lights/pool pump in the rain in the middle of the night. Shame!!
Very clunky
I travel a lot and my app never is sending me the correct information. I actually need to be at my pool to see if the pump is working. Also and even harder is that when you set the pump time cycle, good luck having it work. Why cannot this be made easier and more reliable
