I hate to leave bad reviews but since PerchLens took over I have had nothing but issues. My WiFi keeps disconnecting. It was fine while it was the Birdty app. When I went to reinstall, it took two days before I could get back on line. I hope these issues are fixed soon, or I’ll soon be moving on to a different app.

Issues lately
Issues logging in for a couple days, now issues accessing the live stream. Checked network on device and router at home and all connections are great.
My Feeder Has Become a Fake International Airport
If PerchLens is to be believed, my humble hummingbird feeder in North Carolina has somehow become the hottest vacation spot for South and Central American hummingbirds. According to the app, I’m basically running an avian Sandals Resort in my backyard.
The problem?
I’m not.
Cute interface, fun idea, but the AI bird ID is about as reliable as a squirrel on espresso. Every flutter becomes an exotic species, every shadow becomes a rare migrant, and every actual hummingbird becomes… well, apparently a tourist with a passport.
Two stars because it’s entertaining, but if you actually want to know what bird you’re looking at, you might as well ask a random pigeon.

Camera is not recording
Camera is not recording again; so not receiving alerts. Also, location is not working again. Can view live streaming only. Customer support is responding quickly.
Terrible/ Negative 5 Stars
I got a new phone and when the app reinstalled, it would not allow me to log in or access the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled and tried changing the password. Then my husband couldn’t access the app. After a Google search, we found out this is a known issue. Don’t buy a bird feeder that communicates with this app. It’s awful.

Can’t log in!!
Why isn’t this app working? I’ve been trying to sign in all day and it does nothing after I click Log In.
App is slow and never works
The app takes forever to connect to the camera, takes ten minutes to load the Home Screen.
Used to work
It had a different name and it used to work great. Now it won’t even open making my feeder useless. Very disappointed.
App just won’t work
I have been trying to open the app for over 10 mins. Just a spinning wheel. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. When I try to login, I type my information and then nothing happens. I’ve tried making a new account, enter the information, click ok, and nothing happens. Nothing is happening at all.

Can’t log in
Received a feeder as a gift. Downloaded the app, created an account and cannot log in. It starts to load then just stops. Can’t figure out product support. Please contact me!!

This app has been awesome! But now, for some reason it isn’t loading. 🤷♂️ No update available, I’m at a loss!

I keep on make a account however it still sends me to the login page, and it doesn’t let me access to the apps features.

I can’t even log in. I deleted and reinstalled app because it was just loading not doing anything. Now it won’t even let me log in. Fix it!!!!
App is unusable
The app refuses to login after entering my username/password. I tried finding a support account to contact but there’s nothing on the page and the developer website is a blank page. This feels like a scam.
Quit working
Christmas ‘25 gift. Quit scaring away squirrels and didn’t change repellent noise. Now refuses to move past the login screen. Solar panel doesn’t recharge camera.

When they change the name and change my app, it stopped working. It was great and we loved it. Now we just have another ordinary bird feeder. 😡
App is broken
This app has been problematic since the name changed. I currently will not load. Deleting and reinstalling did not help. Refuses to log in. Pretty much a waste of money.
