Functionally Useless Now
I’ve used a PetKit automatic feeding device for years, but in the past few weeks have lost any functional access with the app. The old app version would not let me access my device even after manually re-adding it. Now the new version says “Network Error” repeatedly even though I am on working wifi. I have no way to access the product I paid for. It’s deeply disappointing when companies stop supporting older devices.

Absolutely love it
It is such a nice addition to my house. My cats always enjoy having a clean litter box and the fact that I can monitor them for fun while I’m at work. It’s just a cherry on top. 10 out of 10 would recommend I haven’t had a breakdown on me. The app doesn’t ever crash totally worth it.

I found it very difficult to navigate around this site I have been trying to find the shopping page, I was looking for accessories for my PETKIT not very user-friendly.
Great piece of kit
Cats love this, great for in-between snacks or when I’m late home or away for any length of time. Superb quality and function. TOP TIP: buy some Wisedry Silica Gel Beads and use the bags that come with it instead of the expensive packs from Petkit!
Amount to feed
It’s very challenging to figure out how to adjust the amount to feed my pet. I don’t like that it defaults to calculating it in my behalf .
Reminders are incorrect
I set the reminder as what the instructions stated to clean the water fountain. The first reminder was great and I cleaned it; now it wants me to clean it every day and that is not what the instructions said. I cannot even edit this reminder so I deleted it and will use a calendar reminder instead. Bad product.

No need for in-app purchases
The app gives me all of the essentials. I get a photograph of the meal before and after the cat eats it, assuring me that the gizmo worked.

PETKIT 2
This device has no handles to lift it out of the shipping packaging nor a way to lift & move from room to room. This device weighs 27 plus pounds and should have been built with some sort of handle.
Individual subscription?
I have two ever sweet water fountain I like the concept of the camera but I think it’s not good for consumers that bought more than one device then pay a subscription for each device !! Why ? Then it has the CUBE for water filtration that you have to replace every 30 days! They advertise four different types but only one kind it’s available!! I was going to buy a third Everett device but know I May just return them instead!

The app I actually open every day.
I downloaded this because I bought the Purobot Max Pro 2, and I expected the app to be the boring part. It's turned into the reason the whole thing is worth it.
The box handles the mess. The first time I emptied the waste bin, the bag was already sealed and the entire chore took about fifteen seconds. But the box is only doing half the work. The app is where I actually find out how my cats are doing.
We recently took in a stray kitten. She came to us at 5 pounds, and instead of guessing whether she was gaining, I open the app and see the number. She's at 5.5 now, and watching that trend line move has been more reassuring than anything else I could have bought. Every visit is logged. Every weight is recorded. I have real data on an animal that can't tell me anything.
The camera view is the other piece I use constantly. With a rescue kitten, loose stool is the first thing you watch for, and I can confirm every single visit looks normal instead of finding out days later. Being able to pull that up on my phone from anywhere is the feature I'd miss most.
Setup was straightforward, notifications are timely and not spammy, and the daily summaries are actually useful rather than noise.
I came for a litter box and stayed for the app. If you own the hardware, this is the half that makes it worth the price.

Litter dump
Just got the PETKIT try to do a couple of troubleshooting things myself called customer Service they told me to email customer Service instead my litter dumped all the litter into the basket so I changed the filter. Great it started to dump less litter in the basket, but then I went on vacation for three days and after the first day, it says that the litter bin was full. Really annoying with the customer Service and all.

I love the easy access
Everything on the app?? And literally robots too?? This is such a good company
Not good at all
It will not connect to WiFi, dispensing incorrect amount of food and at the wrong time scheduled. Not what I expected at all.
WARNING: PAID SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED FOR MOST FEATURES
If that fact that I paid $100 for this feeder and can’t even use the camera feature without a subscription isn’t ridiculous enough, they don’t advertise that very well (at least on Amazon.) I wouldn’t have bought it had I known. Not to mention, the camera is garbage anyways!
I paid for a smart feeder and ended up with a dumb one. Purchase at your own risk!
