Annoying
It doesn’t allow clients to book to appointments simultaneously. Also it gives random hours for clients to book that leads to blank spaces in the schedule. Fifteenth minutes here, twenty minutes there… We loose money at the end because the system cannot make the appointments in a way they’re all back to back instead of leaving random minutes in between. It also fails when on the iPad you try to cancel an appointment.
Definitely a lot to impossible here, otherwise I think we will have to change to a better booking system

Love it
Love the app and all the good features of it. Next cool thing would be making an Apple Watch version!
New update is not good
They changed the upper bar color from purple to white and now you can’t see current time in the corner on your iPhone, which is extremely annoying when you quickly check your schedule during your work day at the salon. Please bring the clock back!
Frustrating
For some reason this app randomly logs me, or my other employees out. It’s not convenient to have to use your email and password every time you need to see your books.
To make it more of a uggggghhhhh experience, you can reset your password unless you are in the computer version of phorest. Currently on the road, and my login(which I shouldn’t have to do anyway) is not working. And I can’t reset my password unless I am at the salon desk computer.

Consultations issues
App freezes if you click on a consultation that is not completed or filled in and submitted. Very frustrating when you’re tapping to move on to read other work which is coming up or other consultations I am wanting to send that day 🤷♀️🙃😕

It’s ok. Does what it needs to do. But I wish that it will alert me when there’s a new appointment booking or if there’s a rescheduling
Clunky and not very stylist friendly
I use this because the salon I’m in does, but I have to say this isn’t my favorite salon booking software.
It tries to do too much and gets in its own way. Breaks, schedule changes, flexible booking outside of the general schedule, etc. are very user unfriendly. Changing the schedule is a nightmare with no override for the appointments outside the schedule change. (As in - honor the future appointments while also actually changing the schedule.)
There are probably a lot of good points for the general salon management aspect but as a stylist I very much dislike.

Will not open a client ticket without jumping to a random page.
Is anyone else having problems with Phorest and the new iPhone? It’s so glitchy and won’t let me edit anything on a existing ticket
Glitching app
This new update has the app glitching a lot . Even after restarting it deleting it and logging out and logging back in.
Unreliable
Not very reliable always crashing. Ok when it works just does not work all the time.
Over charge
They over charge your on sms and it crashes all the time will be changing
Frustrating app.
This app usually is great for our salon. However, it has its technical issues. For example, for 2 weeks now the app will not let me log in. When I'm on the page to enter my email and password it is refusing to even pop a keyboard up so that I can enter my information.

Mostly fine, but new issue is frustrating
Phorest has had it’s bumps for our salon, but the app has usually been pretty great. There seems to be a new issue though, that when you open a ”Break” you cannot edit what it says, delete it, or even see what it was entered as. I use breaks to keep track of personal appointments and I can’t even see the exact time of my dentist appointment right now because when I open it, it just says “Break” ... please address this issue, thank you.

when i tell you my salon life has become a walk in the park!!! i advise ALL salons to use this software! we use the entire system - Computer Software/Payment/App, everything is at the palm of your hands! worth every bit, especially when they make it easy to use and their customer service? out of this world AMAZING!!!!! -

App is horrible, crashes multiple time daily. Would love for my boss to switch to another company, in desperate need of repair.
