App Freezing up
I am not able to check my account because the App os Freezing up after I log in. I tap on the three lines on top right corner and the app Freezes. Please fix this asap because this app is the only way I can access my money.

poorly coded app
over the last few months the app has degraded heavily to the point where after lowering the APY by 0.5% I’m ready to put my money into a different bank. face ID no longer works, the app doesn’t remember passwords or allow me to paste it or auto fill from the apple or chrome password manager, so whenever i want to use the app i have to type out my long complicated password.

Save time and your money Denial despite mtg qualifications & refusal to delete personal data
Safe your engery ans invest elsewhere. Do not let the high interest rate fool you; dealing with PiBank is a nightmare. Their automated onboarding and biometric verification systems are completely broken—frequently rejecting applicants with Tier-1 credit and immaculate documentation, only to keep their highly sensitive personal information on file with zero option for a manual review. When calling to ask why the account was not eligible, agent could tell provide any insight other than image not verified, yet when selfie was taken it showed “green”’as in good. When asking to speak to supervisor was told they would get back to me in 7 days - that’s horrible customer service for a bank trying to get new money. At this point, I demanded my social, license, picture and all personal data deleted and the representative wouldn’t do anything other than say it was safe. A complaint has been filed with FTC. Going to banking commission next to shut down these types of sketchy online bank operators.

This app won’t let you log in. I hope this is fixed or I will have to delete it since all transactions are made online. Makes no sense. Like fixed soon, we need access to our money and transfers!

Worst App Ever
This is the worst app experience I have ever encountered. I just opened a new account and completely cannot log in. If this issue isn't fixed immediately, I will close my account.
Just don’t
I know what you’re thinking. How bad can it really be? It’s bad. All of what the other negative reviews have said are true, please read them. Not worth your time. So frustrating; endless loop of crashes, verifications, error messages.

Worked Despite Concerns I Had
Honestly was hesitant trusting the app at first. But I’ve been with them for two years now and the high apy has been reliable and consistent. App doesn’t have many features but when the purpose is simply depositing money it does the job. Only thing I’d comment on is the slow transfer speeds

I tried to open an account and it wouldn’t let me finalize the account I’m assuming because of some error so I just gave up. I came back a couple months later to try again and it’s prompting me to login and treating it as if I finished opening the account but I never did. It’s a shame the app is so egregious because their HYS rates are great.

Terrible app
I’ve had an account with pibank for 1.5 years. In that time I’ve benefitted from their competitive HYSA rate.
However, in that time I’ve also experienced many issues. The app is truly awful. I find myself unable to access my account a few times a month. I’ve had issues transferring money out of the account, and the customer service isn’t great.
I’m writing this as I’m attempting to transfer money out and receiving an error message that my “request cannot be completed.” I then attempted to contact the bank also received the same error message. So I can’t transfer money from my account, and I can’t contact the bank.
Not only is this frustrating, but it’s also alarming.
Pibank rates are competitive, and if you plan on putting money in a HYSA and never touching it then this bank is good for you. If you plan on transferring money or talking with the bank good luck because it’s been 50/50 in my experience.

App is terrible, interest rates are good
This company only allows you to bank through their app which is absolutely awful. It lags, sometimes your account doesn’t show up, sometimes they freeze your account for no reason. I wouldn’t recommend banking here or using this app unless you want your life to be difficult for no reason
Garbage App
Can’t log in with face ID and can’t paste my password. Have to enter it manually every time. Can’t deposit money because I get an error every time. Massive waste of time setting up this account because it’s effectively unusable.

4/30: Face ID has randomly stopped working completely. Have to use password each time
Edit: Had some initial issues but haven’t had any since then and the update fixed the inbox bug.. updating to 4 stars.

Not a scam
I opened a Pi Bank Account to take advantage of the high yield interest. It’s not like your typical BOA or Chase account where you can use it to pay bills etc… just a heads up there. It’s mainly to put savings and reserves in a place where you can take advantage of their high yield interest rate on your savings. I’ve called customer service a couple times for support and always received great help. I spoke with Luis today and asked about the bad reviews and he said when ppl are happy, they don’t usually write reviews — but when they’re unhappy, they do. I understand this. So I wanted to share my experience, in hopes it helps because they’re a legitimate bank with a benefit to those who use it. You just need to know what the set-up is for your money before signing up. Hope this helps others. Thank you, Luis in customer service for your support.

Account disappeared
My savings account has randomly been removed from the home page and the app is taking much longer than usual to load. Will edit this review if it changes because the app was fine prior to this, but opening it and trying to transfer money and seeing your entire account gone is quite scary.
