I love it, but it’s super hard to use
I really like PineMelon and want it to succeed. the usability of both the app and website are pretttty terrible tho. finding a product is extremely difficult. search doesn’t reliably bring up products with exact match name to the search terms. brand catalogs are missing items. browse categories seems to be where I usually find what I need, but which category? gotta try em all cause who knows which one it’ll be in. buy it again section is ok… if I’ve bought it before. really quite frustrating, because it’s these really specific local products that I’m here for, and I have to work so hard to find their listings

Incredible local finds and service
Pinemelon has changed our grocery delivery service for the better. We get farmers market finds and local meats and produce delivered fresh right to our door. It’s been a tremendous time and cost savings for my family.

New delivery schedule ruined the service
I’ve used pinemelon consistently since about 3 months ago. I really appreciated the high quality foods, and quality delivery service. The neighborhood I live in has a lot of crime and theft, so I had to schedule the delivery for when I can receive it directly from the courier. All I had to do was plan the delivery for when I was home. I liked it so much that I paid $60 for a year of MelonClub.
Right after I paid for this they changed their delivery schedule. The new delivery schedule ONLY has 11-5 delivery windows. I am not home 11-5 any day of the week. I can’t afford to live in a neighborhood where you can leave food on your front porch for hours.
The service that I have spent thousand of dollars on is now effectively useless. I used to brag to my friends about how good PineMelon is. Now I will tell people to stay away. I really hope they change their delivery policy back to one that actually works for everyone. Very disappointing.

The are always out of product, don't pack groceries safely and there is frequent cross contamination, inconvenient service

Seriously. Groceries delivered to your house, products from good, local, & small businesses, and everything else you could need. Reasonable prices. All the employees are super nice too.

Couldn’t be happier with a great customer service from Pinemelon, along with really good deals on basics like milk and aches and veggies. Love that I can get local produce too, even when the farmers market isn’t open.

How invasive is this App?
Well it definitely shuts down my Spotify every time I go to Home Screen? Not sure what kind of personal information it’s grabbing but I would not recommend the App. Company is a A+ but maybe use browser to order
Terrible experience
Trying to use their promo code twice with my second phone number. And they canceled my order. That’s fine cuz it’s due to their policy. But then they blocked my address and I can’t order anything in my address cuz they said there was a fraud. And they said they could do nothing. Bad customer service.

Great concept, terrible execution
I’ve ordered from Pinemelon weekly for the past few months. It never fails, there is always something wrong with my order. Missing items and more commonly, completely smashed produce. Pinemelon really needs to figure out their packaging system. I’m tired of 1) paying for food that isn’t included in my order with no response from customer service and 2) receiving damaged, rotten, smashed produce that I paid for with zero response from customer service. The concept is great, love the convenience, but at this rate I cannot rely on Pinemelon and end up having to go to Whole Foods anyways (the store I was trying to avoid but ordering from Pinemelon). I’ve been spending *more* money shopping at Pinemelon because I’m constantly having to replace items on my own dime. They have definitely lost a customer this past week with the 2 missing pieces of fruit, 8 smashed peaches, and zero response from customer service.

Misleading ingredients lists
I want this app to succeed, but be warned that many of their product listings do not contain an accurate description of ingredients. Sometimes you will be mislead into buying something that has way more ingredients, some of which you may be avoiding.
The Best Local Grocery Service
Great food options with a focus on local producers, same prices as in stores, but delivered to your doorstep. All the employees I’ve interacted with have been genuinely nice, too. Lifesaver - highly recommend.
Charged twice, not delivered
Made two separate orders with a promo code and both were cancelled. No refund, limited explanation. Terrible experience.
They charge you more than they tell you
I ordered a small cart and used a coupon they said it wax around $7 but charged me $19.50 I didn’t understand but I still wanted my order the next day I returned to the app and everything in my order was out of stock and after the items in the order disappeared and all I could look at was the receipt
