Search doesn’t work!!
I have been trying to use the search but it is not working at all . Been so many weeks .. how can one put books on hold if search itself won’t let you enter book name 🙄
Mostly useless
The search function doesn’t work. You can’t search for ANYTHING, except for the example, which is Mark Twain. To me, that’s utterly useless.
Problematic
I haven’t been able to get the search to work for several weeks now, and that is my primary use for the app.
It’s not working
We usually know the book we want and use the app to see if our closest library has a certain book, put a book on hold, and pick out which pickup location. The app has fit our needs for years. Now the search feature is not working. We cannot enter the title or author of the book we want. This may have come about after the most recent apple update, but regardless of the cause, the app is no longer useful for my family. I hope Plano fixes it!

In theory, this app is awesome & convenient. However, in reality there are so many glitches.

Search needs improvement
If you go on the full website and search for a title by going to “Browse,” it will return more results than searching for the same thing on the phone. Many times I will have to resort to finding something on the website, especially when searching for DVD movies. Would also be nice if there was a way to view checkout history.

Easy and convenient
They make things so easy and convenient. 5 stars.
Handy and easy to use
All the basic functions like searching for titles, requesting holds, renewing, and keeping track of what has been checked out are simple and easy to use. I’m so thankful my library has this function!
So many bugs!!
Either they have a poor QA process or they just don’t care. There are so many bugs that this app has become practically useless.
Boopsie seems to be a fraud
This app doesn’t work at all. I search for a book, and go to see details on it and nothing shows up. Who is the developer? And this hasn’t been updated in 10 months. Our tax money goes towards these apps that don’t work. C’mon Plano library, you’ll can do better.
Needs work
Doesn't show location of book/media. Can't search different fields like online site. Barcode wallet is nice.
It works but klunky
I don’t know who boopsie is that developed this but user experience is lacking. If you know what you want to read you’ll be fine but otherwise you’ll need to find a list of books elsewhere and search here later. If you do things in right order you’ll be fine. Knowing that order is a learning experience. Plano does offer quite a bit of resources so that is good just start with this app for every task. Also there is no feature to copy library card and the app isn’t designed well enough to re enter information it already knows when you change to ebook functions ie overdrive etc. there is no way to copy and paste. You’ll have to write it down and enter password multiple times. 3 stars is a stretch because the developer can do this all. But within its limitations it works and they got the hard development working.

The website search engine is more inclusive. Slow response time from this app. At least it hasn't crashed.
Works great!
This app works great. Soooo much better than the one from the library. That one times out constantly. This app doesn't do that and it remembers my password, which is a bad glitch in the library's actual app. Highly recommend over the library's version
