For the functionality you offer, it’s easier to just use the website.
My family of 5 orders the exact same 5 bowls all the time and they each have modifications. What can’t show me my previous orders and allow me to re-order those items? If that’s too much technical overhead for you, allow me to create favorite bowls that I can select when I want to order. Those favorites can live on my device or in the cloud and it would be far more convenient than having to recreate these orders every time.

The App is Okay
I think the app fulfills its purpose. I just wish there was a way to scan receipts or something because sometimes the staff don’t ask me if I have a rewards account and I might forget to provide my number or scan the app in person. There’s also a convenience fee if you order from this app so that’s another reason I wouldn’t use the app besides getting the rewards.

Need to add Apple Pay
Decent app, no glitches. Knocked 2 stars off because Apple Pay needs to be a checkout option. I don’t want to store a card on file.

Over the last 3 months this app has been completely useless. I have tried to place an online order 10 times and they finally said they fixed it but it still doesn’t work
Can’t even log in
Downloaded app and can’t even sign in. I’ve changed the password bunch of times because it would not let me go past the log in screen. I figured maybe I’m not entering it right but I was. I restarted my phone, just to be safe, I uninstalled and installed it and still can’t even log in. Sad.

So many problems with this app. Before it barely worked, now I can’t even get past the launch screen. It’s been months. Why bother having an app?

The app stopped working
The app no longer loads past opening and showing the logo. Which is unfortunate because it was super convenient to order and keep track of points. Not sure if it’s an iOS26 thing or just an app thing but it’s not working.
Confusion reigns supreme
I’ve asked at the store for months to get these fixes relayed to corporate:
1. Remove confusing instructions (see attached)
2. Correct inventory at locations (app states there is no almond milk at Westwood NJ location, but every time I go in there (must go in store since my daughter loves #1 above) , they have plenty of almond milk!
Apps are for convenience, not confusion.

Can’t Sign in
Can’t sign in, keeps saying password is wrong and won’t send code to phone.
They charge “ convenience fee” to use the app.
Playa bowls charge an extra fee ($0.50) for the privilege of using the app. Just for picking it up myself.
App doesn’t work.
3 times tried to order and kept telling me my order expired.
Stopped working
Since your update I can’t get in to the app. You need an update to fix a bug your last update caused.
I would love a working app
This app is full of so many bugs/glitches and just is not user friendly. I’d say I order probably 85-90% less than I would because it is so inconvenient and borderline unusable.

I have tried to mobile order at least 5 times. Every single time the order cannot be placed. Gives an error every single time.
“Convenience Fee”
Playa Bowls does not offer any incentives to order on their app in fact they tack on a convenience fee for no reason at all
Horrible App but Great Products
I love Playa Bowls but their app is just horrible. Some of the coupons or specials are supposed to automatically appear in checkout since they don’t have a separate coupon code, which doesn’t always work. It’s difficult to tell when the order is placed because I usually get stuck on a loading screen. I also have to ‘schedule pickup’ since there is no ‘ASAP’ option, which usually causes delays. They have great smoothies and bowls but the app is so unpleasant.
