Poor Customer Service. No accountability
Avoid Pleo at all costs. Since April 2026, Pleo has deducted over £1,000+ from my account, and by July 2026 I am still chasing my own money. After countless emails, only a fraction has been refunded. Every response takes around 10 days and consists of the same recycled excuse: "Our internal team is reviewing your case." Four months of "reviewing" and still no resolution. I have repeatedly provided bank statements proving the refunds never reached my bank account, yet they continue to ignore the evidence. We reset the account, froze both physical and virtual cards, followed every instruction given, and absolutely nothing changed. There was even an attempted charge at 5AM - same time funds were taken from my bank account by Pleo, which raised serious concerns that were never properly explained. Pleo has been delaying, deflecting and avoiding responsibility. There is no meaningful customer support, no telephone contact, and no one willing to take ownership of a problem involving over £1000+ of a customer's money. Instead, you are trapped in an endless cycle of generic emails, excuses and broken promises while your money remains out of reach. A financial company should protect your money, not make you fight for months to get it back. Save yourself the stress, frustration and financial risk-do not open an account with Pleo.

So easy to use
I love Pleo, it’s so easy to use, just snap a picture of the receipt and it’s all coded for me automatically!

the app is so slow and doesn’t allow you to add your expenses simply .. i have to swipe up out the app each time i make a command

upon launch the loading is pretty slow - sometimes up to 4 seconds.
then the face id pops up while the app is loading and it doesn’t register, have to enter pin again
also when there’s a web purchase where you need to verify, it doesn’t show up on the app right away, it’s a bit clunky overall.
also it’s a bit annoying that i cannot set a default value for the tags? i gotta pick the same tags every single receipt.

Bad user experience
Fetch does not work at all, lots of bugs for example I can’t see my card details. No access to human help
Mostly works
Can't re-size the screen, so everything, particularly attached photos and documents, appears tiny. Yes, you can zoom in onto your screen on a Mac, but this is a very silly design flaw. Otherwise it works mostly well, but when typing in text it has a flawed predictive feature which half the time erases what you're writing as your type it.

Unsafe app! Do not use!
The Pleo system is not safe with your money. Do not use in any circumstances. The fraudulent reporting is not great, where they solely rely on the user freezing the card and do nothing on their side to stop it. They then try and justify that it’s ok. Very poor service, inconsiderate staff that continue to dig on their emails to pass the blame. Pleo now dropped and moved to another company that is actually decent.

App soweit toll nur schade das man nicht sieht wievielte Guthaben noch zur Verfügung steht und leider kann ich den Ausgaben keine Kategorie zufügen, das Fenster in der wahrscheinlich die Auswahl kommt ist immer leer
Zu viele Bugs
Die Idee von Pleo ist an sich gut - und alles wäre super, wenn es einfach funktionieren würde. Tut es aber leider nicht, ständig ist irgendwas. Belege können noch hochgeladen, Kategorien nicht zugeordnet werden…. Der Kundenservice ist dann zwar erreichbar, aber kann zu oft nicht helfen, da das Problem ja technisch ist… das nervig, weil man als kleines Unternehmern einfach nicht die Zeit hat, sich darum zu kümmern. Und es wird auch nicht den gut 50 Euro/Monat gerecht, die man zahlen muss.

L’appli fonctionne mais lorsque je veux renseigner un invité externe pour un déjeuner, je ne peux pas. Il ne se passe rien.
