Why when i got the app 3sum years ago it was better than now. Literally paid hundreds for the last year to get features that are super basic. Planning on moving on from this soon. Wouldn’t recommend in 2026.

If only I could show you how this app thinks my grand piano loos. It is so bad it falls under the “nobody even knows what you were trying to do there” category. Thoughts. This app is substantially limited by reflective surfaces. Pianos sometimes contain glossy mirror like surfaces. The app cannot successfully stitch these images together. So don’t pay to use this app if you have a shiny object that you are scanning. Good luck!

Why are the ratings displayed as being so high; yet I see many persons gave it one or two stars complaining about the expense and other issues?
Latest update ruined the workflow
I’ve used Polycam for years. The 6.0 update ruined the workflow.
Mode selection used to be one tap. There was a green camera icon that opened a list, and I could pick the mode immediately. Now the icon jumps straight into the camera. I have to swipe on the camera screen and wait for the preview to load. That’s a downgrade.
You removed dedicated LiDAR and Object modes. The app now feels confusing and slower.
Design changes are not the issue. Please restore one-tap mode switching from the old camera icon menu, and bring back separate LiDAR / Object modes from before 6.0.

Rocking Great App
We’ve made great use of the space mode underground for greatly improving our ventilation survey results. Cutting cross sections on the fly is so handy!

Subscription Charges after Cancellation
I was charged $400 after I cancelled. My case has been submitted but would warn anyone that does a free trial to assume you will be charged $400 and have to fight for or it dispute it with your credit card.

Great app and I love that I’m able to create the models and floor spaces using my iPhone and the lidar on it.
Just have fun with it!
It’s really up to you whether you want to make this a tool or a toy. Next time you go somewhere on vacation, just have fun with it!
Can’t get past onboarding
The app does not play well with iPhone. Onboarding company info page will not scroll. Stuck with no way around it.

I wish I could see the price before downloading and signing in. The cost is $30 per month or $150 per year. The program looks cool but that’s too much for a hobbyist. I’m not a fan of subscription based programs.

Não consigo ver o resultado do arquivo escaneado. Preciso pagar para exportar em .obj. Não vou pagar por um produto que não tenho certeza que vai prestar.
