For stable use
1) Disable car’s hotspot temporarily. 2) put your phone into Airplane mode. 3) connect directly to the Dashcam with wifi and app. If you eliminate the extraneous cellular, wifi and (Bluetooth) “interference” and connect directly to the Cam, it works very well. Go about your business, get out of airplane mode, turn your car’s hotspot back on and be on your way. You’re welcome!

The worst app and usage I have come across ! For the porsche brand to allow this app and really important function to be so poor is embarrassing !!!

Dashcam sucks
Have the Dashcam a few days. It is a real pain to connect to the app if it does connect! For an expensive camera, cables , installation it sucks!
It works
It’s certainly not the easiest app to connect. The trick is to turn on airplane mode, disconnect from any surrounding WiFi and disable Apple CarPlay. Once these are all set, open the app and it works just fine. The video quality is good and clear.
