PortaPics

The most overlooked piece of infrastructure in the world finally has a field guide. PortaPics is a photography community for documenting portable restrooms in the wild. Find one. Photograph it. Submit it. Let the community decide if it belongs in the archive. LOG IT WITH FIELD NOTES Tag every submission with structured field notes: manufacturer, rental company, color, unit type, interior and exterior condition, weather, setting, and more. The more you log, the easier the ID and the better the archive gets. UP-POOP THE GREAT ONES Up-poop the standout finds. Down-poop the rest. Community voting pushes the best units to the top of the feed. EARN BADGES Log your first porta and earn the Welcome badge. Catch a unit in the rain, on a crane, or in a row of twenty. With 30+ badges to unlock, there's one for almost everything. BUILD THE DIRECTORY PortaPics keeps a growing directory of portable restroom manufacturers and rental companies, documented and verified by the community. Add one first and earn Pioneer status. NEVER MISS A MOMENT Get push notifications when your finds get votes and comments. WHO IT'S FOR Festival-goers. Construction site regulars. Road trippers. The quietly curious. Anyone who's ever looked at a porta potty and thought: that one's different. Anyone who can't walk past a blue box without checking the manufacturer. Thousands of rental operators. Dozens of manufacturers. Millions of units in the field. The archive starts here.
