Terrible App and Membership
Can’t login, app is glitches, and I feel they do this on purpose so you don’t earn points towards rewards
Terrible app
Probably one of the worst apps out there. Had the link sent to me 3 times to change my password but each time failed. And app is confusing for rewards program. No where does it say what rewards you have. Portillo’s is good food but bad tech.
It used to work…
But now, it’s so bad. I realize that login issues of the past had to do with the hosting site and they weren’t specifically Portillo’s fault. I can deal with that getting cleared up by the host. But this version (V4.8.4) has some patch fixes that make the app a pain to deal with. The UI used to flip automatically to the order tracking page once an order was placed. Now, it takes you back to the landing page and forces you to dig through submenus to track your order. That redirect was NOT broken, so why fix it? Please, Portillo’s…find a new host for your app. The current host isn’t doing you any favors.

Complete garbage
App doesn’t work. I reset my password and it crashes. Trash.
Terrible login experience
The app doesn’t keep you logged in and requires two separate logins to actually access your account. Half the time logging in doesn’t work.
Inefficient App
This app is so extremely inefficient and it does not make ordering ahead any easier. I was unable to track order status and the location in Niles Illinois does not place food on “pick up” rack as displayed on the app. Still very much required myself and (2) other patrons to wait at a counter to then figure out where our orders were. You’re better off ordering through other apps like Uber Eats! Portillo’s good still unmatched though which is the only reason this review gets 2 stars!

Needs updating
The app says there is no Portillo’s within 25 miles. There is one 8.8 miles from me. Unfortunately, this makes the app completely useless for me.
Add new location on app
Please add Schertz location on app for pickup and delivery
app sucks.
portillos is great don’t get me wrong but everything with this app sucks. can’t make an account, it kept saying error. can’t log into said account that i supposedly have. to the point it banned me on the site to log in bc of too many attempts i assume.

Portillo’s is an excellent option for a great ff meal!! The food & the vibe are fantastic!!! I have been super fortunate to be served by Mia (drivethru) several times now! Mia is amazing!!! Awesome customer service, friendly & always making you feel appreciated!! Mia is the perfect “ambassador” for excellence in customer service & satisfaction!!! It’s just her “norm”!!! Oh yeah…the fries are incredible but don’t forget the chezzzzy sauce!!!

Zero History Rewards
There is zero way to see rewards clearly and workers have no idea on how to give introductions using the app
Not living up to the Hype
My wife was excited to try this place when it open. Well, we finally got the chance and from what we’ve seen online/videos it al looked really good…. Massive let down! Being half Italian, I tried the classic Italian beef with the works, good part on me that I got the spicy Gardanaire on the side, the meat was tasteless and hardly any peppers at all. My wife loves chili cheese dogs, and she was like,” what is this?!” My chili I make at home was 10 times better, the onion rings and fries tasted like they’re frozen and not salted in anyway. May come back, but not holding my breath.

Lovely!
Don’t listen to these reviews and don’t be scared to download because the experience is seamless. Older people tend to have more difficulty with tech and apps, so I get it. But I’m one to assume a badly rated food app is an unusable food app and this app is far from unusable. I even got to walk right in past a line of people and grab my order with my name on it.

Needs changes
I can’t delete address that is no longer valid. I can’t sign into settings it keeps saying that I need to verify I’m not human and no captcha appears. It then tells me my email address is incorrect but when I change my password it send it to the email address app doesn’t have a specific instructions box for the kitchen

Worst restaurant app ever
Login works for me, but it doesn’t seem to work for a lot of people. Also, perks program doesn’t work at all. You can sign up for it, but it’s a completely different section and it’s not actually represented anywhere on the app. I visited at least a dozen times and it still shows zero visits. This app is absolutely garbage. How is this company ignoring this problem? Plain and simple, the app sucks. It needs a complete overhaul. Just take a look at absolutely any competitor and copy them.

App isn’t great
I ordered online through the app. The order tracker didn’t work and the order wasn’t ready on time.
app is HORRIBLE
the food is amazing don’t get me wrong. but the app literally DOESNT WORK. it makes me re sign in again literally every other day and then i have to delete and redownload the app multiple times for it to even load in? and then it finally will for a few mins and then kick me out again. such a waste of time

App repeatedly won’t open
I have tried several days to use your app and I get as far as choosing which location. Then I get a white screen. I am sent an offer but can’t use it. I have used it numerous times in the past. I am getting tired of wasting my time.
No stars…APP is Horrible!
The app is horrible as a matter of fact I would say that they do not have an APP due to the fact that it does not work! They need to remove from APP store until it is fixed and work properly.
