FAQ

What does Posture Pal do?

Posture Pal helps you improve your neck, shoulder, and back posture by utilizing the motion sensors in compatible headphones. It tracks your neck tilt and provides various alerts when it detects poor posture, encouraging you to correct it.

How does Posture Pal track my posture?

The app uses the motion sensors found in your headphones, such as AirPods, to detect your neck tilt. It then analyzes this data in the background to identify instances of bad posture.

What types of alerts can I receive?

You can receive visual alerts, sound alerts, phone vibrations, and notifications (even on your Apple Watch) when bad posture is detected. The app also offers the option to lower music volume when your posture is bad and raise it again when corrected.

Is Posture Pal free to use?

Posture Pal offers a free version with core features. However, it also provides 'Posture Pal Pro' through subscriptions, which unlocks additional customization options like custom colors, sensitivity settings, and different app icons.

What headphones are compatible with Posture Pal?

Posture Pal officially supports AirPods (3rd Generation), AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and Beats Fit Pro. Other headphones capable of sending motion data to your iPhone may also work.
