No stimulation
The app is connected to PowerDot via Bluetooth but there is no stimulation vibrating through the pod into the pad.

This app is so finicky....It works some days and others when I sign in and confirm it won't load.
App always fails to authenticate
The PowerDot worked well, when it worked. But if you don’t use it regularly the App forgets your name/password, can’t login, claims the account name doesn’t exist, and fails to create a new account with the informative diagnostic message “something went wrong”.
This is not the first time, this is the 4th time it’s happened. Each time took hours with tech support to just re-enable my red “bricks”.
My advice is buy something else, something that doesn’t need an active internet connection and invasive marketing-data-collection account just to turn it on.

Absolute game changer
As a physical therapist I’ve seen amazing results with pain relief as well as range of motion increases then I tried it on myself…amazing product!!!! so both professionally and personally this is something that I recommend. From its features to calm the muscles and it’s features to work the muscles. This is made a difference in so many of my patients as they recover.

Good until it wasn’t
Worked great for the most part but the last couple of years, the app has been pretty buggy. Now it’s completely useless. Error messages prevent me from connecting to them and using them in any way.

The app will not even open any mores it just keeps saying to retry.
Important tool in the box
Lately using it concomitant with my joovv red lights for shoulder pain. Easy to feel improvement!
App crashes at launch
The app keeps crashing every time I try to open it. I’ve deleted it from my phone and reinstalled and the app immediately charges after taping the app icon. The app used to work just fine and now it doesn’t work at all. I’ve tried a different device and I keep getting the same results. Please fix or update the app.

Open up the app sign in and even reset my password. I just keep getting an “error try something went wrong” message. Bummer that the device I bought can’t be used anymore

Unusable
I had to throw my whole device away because every time I wanted to use it there was 30 minutes of connectivity troubleshooting or the app refusing to work. If i could even get connected, then the app would make me jump through several hoops like surveys and hard to navigate menus before starting.
I threw it away and bought a standalone unit. The developers should be ashamed

Product is great; support not so much!
I purchased new butterfly lumbar pads 4 months ago and haven’t used them until now. This is the 1st time using the new blue ones; prior to that I used the red ones with no problems. These new ones seem to lack some connectivity with the magnetic probes and the pulsating is weak and very intermittent almost stopping completely. I contacted Therabody and was told they were out of warranty and they can’t help. I have loved this product for 4+ years but the support seems to suck. Maybe there’s something comparable available out there?

Used to work really well. Now one of my duo connects to my phone but both can connect to ipad. App is buggy. Needs to be addressed. Never had an issue before therabody bought powerdot
