Can’t even verify your phone number so you can’t create an account because verification code doesn’t work

Waste of time.
I can’t even make an account. I enter my phone number and it sends a verification code text. I let my phone autofill the code section with the code from the text, and then it tells me the verification code doesn’t exist? Even when I enter it manually it doesn’t work. Please fix this, people with dying phones don’t have time to deal with these kinds of issues..
