They offer a price online and when you make purchase,they up charge you claiming price you agreed to pay is no longer available.very shady stuff.then refuse to refund your money in an attempt to make you come out of pocket with more of your hard earned money.will definitely never use this service and wouldn’t recommend it to my enemies

Honestly, this is probably the worst app to book a hotel from. I have had two bad experiences with them and the hotels they allow on their site/app in the span of 4 months, not even half a year. One hotel we booked in Illinois was terrible and had mostly every handle broken, water filling the ceiling and dripping, and lacking staff. Now, in California, we have a hotel that smells and is filled with mold, something dangerous for humans might I add, and on top of that, German roaches. Priceline and their support has done nothing but hang up in our faces and tell us they’re not the correct line, after answering as Priceline, and then hanging up again and again. Please, and I mean it, never book with Priceline. Do not waste time looking at the hotel reviews on the app and just forget the app completely. That’s all.

Do not purchase extra insurance!
I purchased the extra insurance coverage which should not have been offered in the beginning. Budget does not accept Priceline insurance coverage on SUV’s only on sedans. Budget said this is a regular problem with Priceline. I contacted Priceline after we got home and they would not refund the insurance we were not able to use because it was later than their 72 hour grace period which is not stated in any of the documents sent. Customer service is terrible. They all stated that it is not in the documents. One of the supervisors lied and said it is stated. The insurance portion is a scam. If you’re too busy to call within 72 hours of being on a trip then you get hosed. I would understand if it was a couple weeks or months. There is not any reason why this should not be refunded. I do not recommend using this app.

Be Careful: My Priceline Cancellation Credit Had Unexpected Restrictions
I booked a Southwest Airlines Basic fare through Priceline. I later canceled the ticket before departure and received an email confirming a $192.40 Southwest Airlines travel credit.
The cancellation email stated that the credit could be used toward a future Southwest flight. It did not mention that the credit could only be used for a higher fare.
When I contacted Southwest to use the credit, they told me I had to work through Priceline because Priceline issued the ticket. When I contacted Priceline, I was told that the travel credit cannot be used to book another Basic fare and must instead be applied to a Choice fare. This restriction was not mentioned in my cancellation confirmation email, and I only learned about it after contacting customer support.
My suggestion to Priceline is to make this much clearer. If a canceled Basic fare credit cannot be used to purchase another Basic fare, that restriction should be stated prominently in the cancellation confirmation email and during the cancellation process so customers understand their options before canceling.
If you book Southwest flights through Priceline, ask specifically whether any travel credit from a canceled Basic fare can be used for another Basic fare before relying on the cancellation policy.

Hotel reservation
I booked with Priceline for a hotel in New York City, and when I arrived at the hotel, I found out that they rent rooms by the hour. It was dirty. There were hookers in the lobby. There was drug deals going out in the front. It was horrible. I will never use Priceline again. This is a red flag to everybody that goes on Priceline’s website. I called Priceline for a week two weeks straight. They will not help me and they will not refund your money. Do not use Priceline.

Don’t trust there prices! They’re is hidden fees!!!
I booked thru Priceline and the total cost came out to $1300 then when I got to the hotel they charged me an extra $250 in resort fees that Priceline didn’t list even though they said the total amount was $1300, Priceline said they have no control over fees from hotels. So then they need to tell you there will be more fees upon arrival instead of making the customer think what they’re paying for is the final cost when it’s not!!! Seems like they’re being untruthfully and untrustworthy to me in a fraudulent manner would not use this app again after this!

The price shows as CAD but charge you in USD for Canadian hotel booking and non-cancelation.
No service after purchase
When I arrived at hotel, the clerk insisted on more money but refused credit card wanted cash. Told me they couldn’t give a receipt.

When you get through to them they tell you they have to investigate and call you back and then they don’t. But for your inconvenience they will help you out with 20% off your next ruined stay where after you pay Priceline for your reservation the hotel charges you several hundred to actually get a room key to your substandard room.

Horrible / Does not work.
I can’t even find the trip I just booked on Priceline. It says 0 upcoming trips, yet I have the booking email to prove it. I click on Find My Trip and all that does is send another verification code to my email then when I put in the code it just goes to the page I was on when I couldn’t see my trip. And when I click contact support I get a spinning thing that never connects. Note this is for both the app and the online web site. I am deleting the app because it does absolutely nothing. It’s a waste of my phone storage. It’s embarrassing for a company to release an app that does nothing.
