It sucks

You need ship wifi to access anything important in app. Ship wifi is hard to connect to. It doesn’t even work off app. App logs out randomly. Rather book with Caribbean

Terrible

Always you to create an account in the app but won’t connect my booking with my account as you need to create an account online then log into the app. Shouldn’t have a create an account option if it shouldn’t be done in the app.

helpful

very good and says what there is in a day, can even locate family members so you don’t loose them + text them with no WiFi

It works, I guess

While the app does work, navigation isn’t always intuitive and it rarely had the information we needed. If use of the app wasn’t required, I wouldn’t use it. Overall, disappointing and frustrating.

Super buggy app

Tried using the app to check in, had so much trouble and ended up using the website. Brief panic attack when it showed that one of my cruise companion was not checked in on the day off embarkation.

Not related to app, but getting mistakenly charged for speciality dining while having premier package.

The worst cruise app

This is quite literally the worst cruise app I’ve ever used. Trying to do the check-in process is infuriating with constant errors and an absolute refusal to accept correct passport information. Very buggy and clunky - and this is before we even step foot on the ship.

App needs a lot of work

My cruise group had many specific complaints, I personally experienced most of them. The no-wifi messaging was nice, but often crashed and almost never gave push notifications (there was no clear way to enable them). The ship map was convenient but extremely inaccurate. App will randomly sign you out constantly. Not very intuitive, information was difficult to find. Dining information was very limited/confusing unless you booked it well in advance. Starting a couple days before cruise, app could only be used when connected to ship wifi (so you can’t check ship schedule before boarding, during port days, etc).

No useful

I have tried to log in 3 different times with different passwords and it’s still an issues. I want to understand if this going to work for me when that time comes.

Registration Shouldn’t Require a Phone Call

My entire family ran into the same issue. None of us could link our existing booking numbers to our individual email addresses during registration. We each had to call customer service separately just to have our booking manually linked before we could create an account.

This creates a frustrating first impression. The most basic function of a travel app should be allowing users to register with an existing booking without requiring a phone call. If account creation isn’t seamless, it significantly undermines the value of having the app in the first place. Hopefully this is something the development team prioritizes fixing because it’s a poor user experience from the very first step.

Worst Cruise App on the Seven Seas

Here’s an app where you have to give away every piece of privacy, let your ip be tracked, and have no protection whatsoever… to use a chat that does not notify you when you have a message. One of the most under-developed, under-whelming, and under-baked apps I’ve ever dealt with from a large company. A mom and pop store could have done better. Only think it enhanced is their control valve to you and push you to purchase their overpriced internet service.

App

When app opens all ya see is mumble jumble

Frustrating

I like using apps but if you’re one of the unlucky ones where your data gets screwed up by this app, you’re in for a frustrating experience before and after you get on the ship. This app has so many issues and leaves the staff pretty helpless to fix things.

Improved since my last cruise

I’ve been noticing the updates on the app and it has become easier to browse and book my excursions before I go to my next cruise.

Horrible

It is to glitchy it take like an hour for me to load horrible I do not recommend this app it leads you the wrong ways when you click derection

Can’t Login

I can login on the website online, but cannot login to the app. Before the update, I could login. So dumb.

Terribly arranged

A cruise app should be a single source location to find information while cruising. This one is not that. There is a lot of clicking around to try to find answers. The way it’s arranged is the starting point for seeing there is a problem.

This is absolutely a nightmare

A terrible APP that had too many glitches, it took me more than two hours but I still couldn’t finish check it. I would give zero star if I could. This APP ruined the reputation of Princess Cruises and I won’t recommend it to anyone else.

Needs work. A lot.

This app really hits a sour note. In today’s world, you expect things to just work. A company this size should be a little bit embarrassed that this is their customer-facing product on iOS. Excursions do not sync with website. Navigation returns you to main screen every time you look at an excursion. Try using this app before you get on ship. You will be angry.

Disappointing app

As a cruise passenger and product owner for another app I want that the app have the all aboard time readily available, so that I don’t have to look at the paper copy for basic information.

Seriously the all aboard time isn’t anywhere in the app. That is a terrible design. When at port and off ship the screen should prominently display the all aboard time. The app’s primary job is to keep me informed and it is failing badly.

Upgrade not good

Haven’t used it on board yet so can’t comment on problems some people are having. My issue is that I can’t see more than one future cruise that I have booked. They all used to be available to click on to.
Also, why does it not show that we have plus package booked.
