Tried to register, error message, no support

I downloaded the app, tried to register, got an error message with no explanation, tried twice more, then tried to contact the company. The phone line was a recorded message that, after asking me to email instead, claimed it tried to put me through to someone but after one ring it cut me off. It tried again, same result. The app offered FAQs but there’s no FAQ text when you select that option. I’ve now emailed in the hope of support. Not optimistic.
